Well, we have 39 clues. We have 2 from the books, 1 from an online mission and 1 from an ultra rare card.

If we say that we get a clue with each book, we have 10 clues accounted for. If we get a clue with each ultra rare card in each card series, we have 3 clues.

That leaves us with 26 clues. If each online mission leads us to a clue, we will end up with 27 online missions (I have included the training mission). With 2 missions already available to us, we have 25 more missions and probably 9 episodes. If that's the case, we should have 2 or 3 missions available to us for each episode.

What do you think?

I think you are way better at math than I am Laughing

Sounds like a good theory though. As good as any other I can come up with. But, here's mine. We have one ultra-rare card with the first wave, two with the second and three with the third. Then Scholastic releases the rare cards pack (it's another way to make more money). I got 3 #60's with 12 sets of card packs. The odds are in my favour so that's why I'm thinking more ultra-rare's in the upcoming packs.

You got to be kidding! Three card 60s with 12 card packs? That's like 1 card 60 with every 4 card packs. I have 4 card packs and i still dont have my card 60.

In the first place, how many of these "ultra-rare" cards are out there in the first place?

Nope, dead serious and sold 2 of them on ebay for enough to get my money back. (I hadn't planned on it until I saw Maggie's post). I got the first one by fluke after purchasing my 7th pack. I ordered 4 from Amazon a while back and when they came in last week, there was a card 60. My daughter and I went to the book store on Friday and she picked up another pack that I didn't know I was buying. There was the third Card 60. Dumb luck!

Card 60

I feel bad admiting this, but I found four #60's. I got all of them pretty quickly, and as I read the earlier pages of this forum, it looked as though everyone was getting the "ultra-rare" card. That is the only reason why I entered all the codes into my online collection. If I had known that some were going to be without it, I would have gladly shared...not even sold...just given them away. As I purchase cards for the second series, I will know to hold onto any "ultra rare" cards that pop up.

Card #60

It must be dumb luck. I found only one out of 20 packs I bought and traded for 2, although I have 5 or 6 of cards others aren't finding.

No. It's like Maggie quoted "dumb luck". But whether you find #60 in the 1st Pack or the 20th Pack like Maggie, I've found it more difficult to find all 55 cards from Pack 1 than finding Card 60. I think I found my 1st #60 at CP 10, but wasn't close in getting all 55. So, like the idiot I am, I bought more card packs, about 20 more or less, to complete a full set. Lucky, in one sense because I got a bunch of extra 60's, and maybe I can get some of my money back on E-Bay.
Now from what I've learned, if I had to do this over again: keep buying CP until you hit on a 60, hopefully it's sooner than later. Then buy anything you're missing on EBay for $1 each. Believe me, you're going to save yourself alot of money.

Laughing And don't be silly like me and order card packs from Amazon and then forget about them. Although that was a way to get another card 60 Wink

Luck is the key I got two in Hong Kong, but at two different shops. One I go to almost daily, and the other was a whim purchase. The Amazon purchase was a fluke. I ordered when they first put them on the buy 3 get one free, but to save on shipping I sent them on a very slow boat. Totally forgot about it until they came in almost 2 months after my order. I don't think that the cards are anymore available in anyplace.

Let's hope not. Laughing Or else people like me will never get all 39 clues. How would anyone like it if one could not get all 39 clues because of one or two stupid ultra rare cards? Scholastic will be hammered by hundreds or even thousands of displeased 39 clues fans. Very Happy

I think Scholastic will have to release more ultra rare cards, maybe every two weeks or every month. That way people wont get disappointed and stop buying the card packs or even the books.
