I have some excess cards to swap (the codes have NOT been used): 9, 11, 14, 15 (x2), 23, 24, 29 (x2), 30 (x2), 44, 46, 47 (x2), 48, 51 (x2), 56, 61, 65, 66, 68.

I also have spare money / replicator cards but I am not sure if I should hold them until we know how the cards will combine.

I am looking for: 13, 16, 27, 28, 31, 32, 39, 43, 54, 57, 67, 72 and maybe physical copies of any of the 400+ cards.

I can help you with 13, 16, 32, 39, 43, 57, and 72. Unfortunately, I can't help you with the physical 400 series cards.

I will trade the following: 46, 47, 48, 51, 56, and 68

I was wondering the same thing. Does anyone know how to get the second clue? Also, does anoyone have any new cards they'd like to share?

We have no idea how to get the second clue, or even when it is supposed to become active. The next book comes out in December -- hope we don't have to wait that long.

And speaking of waiting, I sent in a SASE for more card codes over two weeks ago.... tapping..tapping.

I dont know if anyone has noticed, or it could just be me, but on mine, I noticed that the cards are not in numerical order anymore. It was yesterday but not today. I also noticed on the lower left side of the screen is a PIP type window that has ALERT but doesnt diplay the page. Anyone noticed that? or Is it just my page?

I see what you mean about the cards.
Looks like it's now sorted by the # of duplicates you have. I've entered the surveillance card 5 times, so it's first.
I've entered 2 of the 400 level cards twice, so they are listed second & third.
The rest of the cards are in order.

I don't see an ALERT window. It's on the My Cards page?

And to change the subject... have we sent anyone to a Meijer store to look for card # 408? Meijer is a big grocery chain in Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, and Michigan. Maybe we can get friends or relatives to go look.

Meijer and WalMart cards
... and an error on the website

I have been to 6 Wal-MARTs and 3 Meijers, and didn't find a physical card at any of them. On top of that the people that worked in the book section, trading card area, and Servcie Desk knew nothing of what I was talking about (I asked the day shift folks in all cases, as I thought them the most likly to know). From this I am guessing that either no physical cards exists or that they are not available yet. I will stay ever vigilant.

As for this alert box... I don't have one. However I DO have a small window (what looks to be an iframe for those who know web page design) in the bottom left of both the "my cards" and "my clues" pages. The window seems to load an error page (it gives me a "This page doesn't exist. Who told you it did? DON'T TRUST THEM!" message). It seems to be a standard 404 error... or this website's version of one (which means it is trying to load a page that doesn't exist). Looking at the source code for the "my card" page, it seems to be calling some javascript code found here:

http://cdn.static.the39clues.com/js/s_code.min.js?1.0.0

Taking a look at this code, it seems that thay have made it intentionally hard to read (big supprise). However the basics of this is script is that it sents a bunch of variables, then declares a function called s_gi. This function sets (what looks to be... but I might be wrong due to how hard this script is to read) a variable c to some very very very long value. Then it seems to set a new variable s based on the value of c.... well suffice to say it does something and seems to be (based on the result) trying to load a webpage into this small window. Only it seems to have gotten it wrong because the page it is loading gets a 404 error.

If you open the page in a new window, this is the URL it gives:
http://www.the39clues.com/undefined?

So it looks like there is an undefined value or something in the code.

One thing to note, is that while I do see this window in Internet Explorer, I do not see it in Firefox. Looking at the Firefox error console, it does give the error: "Error: uncaught exception: Error calling method on NPObject! [plugin exception: Error in Actionscript. Use a try/catch block to find error.]." So this is likly why this isn't displayed in Firefox.

Net, something seems to be broken on the website.

Hopfully they will get it fixed soon.

---
My surveillance camera codes are 22FC46MJX2 and 237DRWJJX2... use them and pass them on!

 Error thingy

I'm using Google Chrome and I don't get any error messages. What I do get, however, is some unuseful text box at the bottom of my screen that wasn't there a few hours ago.

Hope this helps!!!

When did the Cahills start?

We know it had to be before 1643....
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Newton (a Lucian) was born in 1643.

We know it could not be long before 1147....
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Reconsecration of Saint Pierre de Montmatre! Prior to that date it was a monastery church - not a likely spot for digging into the catacombs and painting your family on the wall.

And by the way, that means that Amy was wrong in the book....
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
She suggested that Franklin would prefer the smaller church but actually the Basilica was not built until after Franklin's time in Paris. The foundation stone was laid 16 June 1875 - 100 years after Franklin left!

Can anyone come up with a closer date?
