Sorry to bust your theory, but remember Dan and his father are good at math, which is a Lucian/Ekaterina trait. Dan can also figure out locks and is good at anagrams and riddles. He figured out Franklin's magic box in MoB very quickly, and on card 48 it says that Grace used magic boxes to test if people were Lucian (or sometimes Ekaterina). And remember ninjas don't have all Tomas traits. Ninjas are warriors that are trained in assasination(mostly Lucian), spying and stealth (Lucian) and martial arts (Tomas). Also, Dan and Amy's mom also liked climbing. One more thing, Eisenhower Holt said in the Tomas archives about Dan and Amy and their father.

I don't know, but it doesn't sound as friendly as in-branch competition would be. Even for the Tomas.

Does anyone think that the fronts of cards 6 and 19 have anything to do with Grace's mansion burning down? Confused

Not me. Since both cards are from the 1st 2 books, and looking at the borders (as previously discussed) there could be at most 8 more cards (8 more books) to add to this picture. That's a great observation for a child, something I didn't see, & I thank you. Keep up the good work, we need you. We old-timers tend to overlook stuff like this.

I'm pretty sure you mean the backs, and that was discussed only one page ago.

EDIT: Whoops! I'm getting slower at typing. Embarassed I didn't see your post wacaga. I'm surprised you didn't see that that was already mentioned either.

Also, I think that it is Grace's mansion burning down, but it looks almost like it's from a long time ago , not modern times, with the MIB wearing a dark black cloak that covers him completely, and the mansion looking smaller and more like a barn than it was described in MoB. One more thing, I don't remember lightning being mentioned, but there it is.

Although we don't agree on a branch for Amy & Dan, let's look at the other 6 teams. We know 5 of them. 1.-The Holts(Tomas). 2&3-Kabras&Spasky(Lucian). 4.-Oh(Ekat). 5.Wizards(Janus). 6.Starlings-????. You can be assured we haven't heard the last of the Starlings

The Starlings do not show up as 'the competition' in the 2nd version of the Clue Finder Guide. http://s277.photobucket.com/albums/kk78/sheadeel/39%20Clues/ So we may not see them again.

Competitors are often weeded out during competitions. It seems to make sense to me that during the course of the 10 books that some of the teams will fail or be unable to continue since only 1 team will win.

I'm quite sure it isn't. If you look at the finer details, you will agree with me. For one thing, Grace's mantion was burned down in broad daylight whereas the back of card 6 shows a starry sky. For another, the three creatures shown are emerging from the 'house' whereas Amy and Dan escape from a grave in MoB and the graveyard s below the hill where the house is situated. Plus, the differences mentioned by Sherlock.

I rather think that the pcture formed is the mural which Dan found n the catacombs in MoB about the 4 Cahills.

as for mystirious, why did you go on yahoo canada when here you are from hong kong

Does anyone have any idea on the 39 Book series?

Is there any law that says I can't get information from Canada? I think I've posted in Singapore, Australia, and the UK as well. I am missing numbers and will search where I can. As for Yahoo HK? Well, I can't read Chinese Wink

Sorry, no help here in the great white north. I have bought cards in Chapters and in Coles, although, the next time I am there, I will ask for you.
