Skeet Shoot's the new weekly challange. Very Happy Adds 1000 to your score. At least this time they changed the weekly challange picture to the right one.

Based on wikibruce's fantastic archive of release dates and updates, I noticed that mission 0 and 1 were released 50 days from th release of MoB. So, it is probably safe to say that mission 2 (and hopefully 3 and 4 as well Very Happy ) will be released at least 50 days from the release of OFN, which i believe is the 21st of January 2009.

What do you all think???

i wish that is right

Back for a Day
several replies

I just spent a couple of hours catching up on the posts I missed while I was living life in the real world. While I hate being sick, it's nice to catch up on all this. Glad to see that we finally warranted our own ARG group. Yeah!

I doubt the Madrigals are referees. My opinion is that they are trying to stop any Cahills from getting the clues. They seem to vandalize places, but my thought is that this is to distract from their real cause- stealing clues.
What is your evidence that the Madrigals vandalize? wacaga asked the same thing, but I didn't see any evidence, unless you considered this your evidence: "They leave a big "M" at historical sites, Egypt for example." I couldn't recall my thoughts on Madrigals, so i had to do an "ego search". Apparently, I like idea that the Madrigals are protectors of the prize, which is only slightly different from a referee. Perhaps they are marking locations (with a big 'M') where clues were/are hidden, sort of like 'X' marks the spot. So, with that idea, I guess I agree with wacaga's statement about Madrigals being referees. But I don't agree that MIB=Madrigal. Smile

Please don't give people the answers for 2 reasons
1. You can do it yourself
2. The answer to that question is already posted in this forum.

If someone wants to be helpful let them be. Your not the boss of the forum. You get to choose weather or not to help and so does everyone else.
And you are not the boss of the forum either. As sapagoo has pointed out, we are self-governing. I applaud Hunter6 and I think that most ppl in this forum agree with him: providing newbies with encouragement, hints or instructions to solve the puzzle is help; giving out the answer is something else. The whole point of 39 Clues is to get kids (whatever the age) to engage their brains.

I reach the conclusion that the clues are actually materials which, when mixed form the Elixir of Life. What do you think? Wink

That belongs in the theory thread, NOT here.
OMG! I am out of touch for a couple of weeks and Hunter6 has taken my place! Wink

I was doing some catching up on my camera and promo codes -- thanks katsmom, Hunter6 and all those folks that graciously shared their codes! I was in a NitPix frame of mind when I followed the link to Stolen Archive 418. I got this nagging suspicion that there is more in the photo that we are supposed to find. For instance, the focus of the shot is not Arnold or Hamilton Holt -- it is something at the end of the alley. All I can see is what looks like a white van. That doesn't seem particularly important. Anyone else see anything?

Along those same lines, when I looked at the pic of A&D taped onto the map in Stolen Archive File 417, I thought it looked like an invisible man with a white hat was standing next to Dan. Upon closer inspection, it looks more like someone wearing a white hat in a brown coat, facing the other direction. While inspecting the details, I initially thought that the garments hanging in the background looked like what the embroidered Mexican dresses were popular in San Antonio back in the 80s. Upon closer inspection, I decided that there was a tree in the background. Then I noticed the location that the pic is taped to the map -- looks like Puerto Rico. Could be a future location for a clue...

PLEASE DON'T LAUGH AT ME, LOL!

Okay, I just stumbled across Snake Charmer. I've read the directions several times and am still having a problem that I just can't seem to figure out. I"m using my numbered keys (1,2,3,4) but only the #1 and #2 are actually working. Am I missing something here? When the game starts, I noticed that the number 3 and 4 are already lit up. Why is this? Anyone else having a problem? If I am not understanding the instructions, please clarify for me. All help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance! Smile

If you are referring to sending in a SASE, that info is on the 39 Clues site at http://www.the39clues.com/info/prizes/usa for the US. If not in the US, pick your location from http://www.the39clues.com/info/prizes

You can enter the Sweepstakes without buying anything. To receive digital versions of the Cards included in Book #1, Book #2, or Book #3, as applicable, in The 39 Clues™ series, send a self-addressed postage-stamped envelope with sufficient postage to: The 39 Clues Mail-In Entry, Book #___ (indicate the Book number you are requesting the Cards for) Title ____________ (indicate the title of the Book you are requesting the Cards for), US AND CANADIAN RESIDENTS: Scholastic Inc, 557 Broadway, New York, NY 10012; UK AND IRELAND RESIDENTS: Scholastic UK Ltd., Euston House, 24 Eversholt Street, London NW1 1DB; NEW ZEALAND RESIDENTS: Scholastic New Zealand Limited, Private Bag 94407, Greenmount, Manukau 2141, New Zealand. I used my number keys (across the top of the keyboard). I didn't experience what you are describing, but I did have a heck of a time passing it. What browser are you using?

My browser is internet explorer.

Oh, you are a sweet-talker aren't you? Is that a common trait for all Brazilians? I only ever met one other Brazilian, so my sample size is 2 for 2. Smile

As a matter of fact, I was intending to send in several SASE today, so one more won't hurt. I warn you that it takes FOREVER. At least it seemed like forever. I think I mailed in the 3 SASE before Christmas and got them back yesterday. Of course the delay could have been from the holidays...
