Not only are the answers for all of the cards available on Unfiction, a judicious bit of googling can get you the answers as well. I like the search function advice. It keeps the same questions from coming up again and again.

My thought is if you are going to post an answer to someone who asks for it, that's fine...but do it in a pm. I agree with Alice about using a bit of the grey matter. It never hurt anyone. While giving out the answers without giving a hint first deprives people of using that grey matter. Having said that, I was mortified to see that I posted an answer to a card sans spoiler unintentionally. It happens, but many times, it can be avoided.

Final thought, this is a game. This is the internet. We don't *really* know eachother. Why get upset over things.
Your right I agree with you, and Alice believe it or not I would rather see people work the answers out for themselves. However sometimes it it's not possible like when I helped you with the submarine game. I was glad that someone "gave" me the answer when I asked without make a big deal about my asking as I'm sure you were when I helped you.

If you don't want to answer ignore the question. If you want to I agree that pm-ing is the best way to do that.

Based on wikibruce's fantastic archive of release dates and updates, I noticed that mission 0 and 1 were released 50 days from th release of MoB. So, it is probably safe to say that mission 2 (and hopefully 3 and 4 as well Very Happy ) will be released at least 50 days from the release of OFN, which i believe is the 21st of January 2009.

What do you all think???

i wish that is right

I HATE THESE GAMES!!! I wish there was more than just fast fingers. Once again, I find I can't do it. Iwould have thought that Scholastic-being a book company-would have had the mission end with something to do with--oh I don't know--reading? instead we once again get a game that has to do with eye hand coordination...as if kids don't play online games enough!

Sounds like you're having problems with it. Now, I play piano, so I may have an advantage for something like this, but the trick to making it easy for me was to use both hands.

Middle finger of the left hand on 1, pointer finger from the left on 2, pointer on the right on 3, and middle finger of the right on 4. I was able to pass the game on my first try with this method. Just think of it as a typing training game. It's pretty much that kind of a concept.

It also helps to watch the holes closely and to only keep track of the coming notes in your peripheral vision. Watching the holes is how you figure out if your timing is working well since the well timed notes turn gold when you play them, the less than well timed notes turn silver, and if you're too early or too late they stay the same color.

Now, if you were merely lamenting the lack of reading in the final portion of the mission....only thing I can think of there is that these games are meant for entertainment, yet they still managed to fit in some facts during the mission. Also, if the kids enjoy the missions that keeps them involved and wanting to read the next book when it comes out.

I'm tapped out after that. Smile

clues are mentioned

Surprised
in mission 0 ''find the secret code"parts some things about clues are mentioned:
in:"Find the Secret Code — Lucian Conspiracy theory"it says:
"in 2007,Grace took 12 trips to Madagascar.the lucians suspect clue activity."
in:"Find the Secret Code — Jonah Wizard Agent Report"it says:
"Jonah will find one lucian clue in Paris. But will he find the other?"

I am working on some notes to consolidate the Founders/Finders, plus those that have Hid clues, and any rumors, myths, and legends about the clue locations.
Look for a new thread soon. (don't let it stop anyone from creating a new thread first - I'll just add to it if there is one)

Interesting thing to note: in the just now released chapters there is a small comment about Nellie adjusting her snake charm nose ring. This may seem trivial, but also on Nellie's Clique Me page is a comment about her trying to decide between a snake nose ring or a dragon one.

Now, I know that both those symbols are heavily used in the various music cultures that Nellie seems most drawn to, but the rub is that it's just a little too coincidental that her choices are two of the four family crest animals.

I don't know if this is some hint at the choice she has due to her heritage, or if it's the choice she's got to make between following one path, deception - a loyalty to the Lucians which isn't clear in any way shape or form yet; or loyalty - a pull towards helping out Amy and Dan who seem to be mostly in the Ekat branch (though I'm still not sold on it yet).

All in all, it sure seems like there's more to Nellie than we've been told at this point. I'm personally pulling for her to be a loyal friend.

and that hope brings me to my next little tidbit. DO NOT READ IF YOU DON'T WANT A SPOILER ON THE TWO CHAPTERS JUST RELEASED

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I'll bet anybody here that the bomb scare was Nellie inside the plane once she realized Dan and Amy weren't on board.

Nicely said. Now I'm just wondering how everyone found out that they had to go to Tokyo. Any ideas?

It seems reasonable to say that they're all keeping tabs on one another. The Cobras have already admitted to intercepting Dan's wifi laptop signal, why wouldn't they have measures in place to track Nellie's credit card? And of course Irina would have an ear to the ground for any of the other teams. She's clever enough to know which ones are likely to only take trips that would matter.

And Alistair is actually my favorite of the other contestants. He may be a little too willing to team up with whoever else is around, but he's also the only one who seems genuinely concerned about Amy and Dan's well being. He wants to win, but not at the cost of their safety or lives. Plus he seems like a fairly smart man, maybe a little too enthusiastic about what he'd like to do instead of working with and developing what he can do. But he seems to be the one that's the most adept at recovery from a bit of bad luck or the most capable at taking alternative routes.

Seriously! Who else besides him has taken a different path to clues than Amy and Dan have? All the other groups seem perfectly content with trailing after the leader so that they can ambush anything they want from them.

SO Frustrated

Well, I still can't play Snake Charmer. NONE of my numbered keys will work. I am awaiting a response from the site so I can resolve this problem. I sent FOUR emails to them asking them to address the problem with Lab Rat and nothing ever came of it. They responded but did not correct the issue. VERY DISAPPOINTED RIGHT NOW! Sad I've lost several game points with LR and cannot retreive Clue #6 without passing SC. BOOOOO!!!!!
