Hey, I was playing Nitpix and I saw that one of the pictures was a list of the book titles so far and of books 4 and 5! It had
1. Maze of Bones
2. One False Note
3. Sword Thief
4. Beyond the Grave
5. A Missed Call

Could the 5th title be referencing to Alexander Graham Bell?
BTW Happy birthday to Darwin and Lincoln!!!!

Speaking of nitpix, if you go cross-eyed and "put" the pictures together, you can see the differences blink!

Actually, you would be missing more than 6 cards, The Sword Thief is not out yet.

This is easier to do if you have all 84 virtual cards that they have released.
When you go to http://www.the39clues.com/mycards , it only has spots for 88 cards right now: the 67 released cards plus the 17 known special 400 series plus another 4 cards.
You can see the types of those missing cards by "filtering" on different combinations. If you select Tomas and Agent on the left hand side, then you see one of the unknown cards.

In early January, there were only 2 unknown cards - we assume those cards are #409 and 412. They have been identified as the Tomas Agent, and the Lucian Secret.
In late January, 2 more unknown cards, both Cahill Agents, were added. They are probably 2 more in the 400 series. Wind Lane actual noticed them on page 149 of this thread bottom of thread.

The 6 cards for book 3 (coming out in 2 short weeks) have not been added to the My Cards page yet. When they do, we will probably have room for 94 cards.

My guess - cards #409 and 412 were given to other companies to distribute back last fall, and those companies never passed the codes to us. The 2 new Cahill Agent cards were added the same week that Scholastic announced the partnership with University Games. Maybe University Games will give out those cards if you buy their games.

Book 3 cards!

I sort my cards every week, then when I sorted my cards earlier, I noticed that there were only 2 agent cards for Ekat, Lucian and Cahill. So, I think I know what type of cards there will be for book 3.

3 agents- Ekat,Lucian,Cahill

Janus has Maria Marapao, Ophir Dupham and Lan Nguyen.
Tomas has George McClain,Paul Addison and Heinrich Heinrichson.
Cahills only have Dan Cahill and Amy Cahill.
Ekats only have Victor Wood and Lilya Chernova.
Lucians only have Gordon Klose and Alana Flores.

2 locations- Ekat and Lucian

Janus has Hidden Notes, Taj Mahal and Racco Mansion.
Tomas has Monument Valley, Alcatraz and The Northern Race.
Cahill doesn't have locations.
Ekats only have CERN and Loch Ness
Lucians only have Salem Witches and Bletchey Park.

1 founder - Cahill

Janus has Harry Houdinni and The Flying Ace.
Tomas has Gertrude Ederle and Annie Oakley.
Cahill only has Young Grace.
Ekats have Astronomer Royal and Marie Curie.
Lucians have Ace of Spies and Ching Shih.

P.S. yay! it's winter break! Very Happy

Last Olympian Cover Released

This is rather unrelated, but the cover for the last book in Rick Riordan's other series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, has been released. Find the cover for 'The Last Olympian' at http://www.percyjacksonbooks.com/main.html

 Saladin?
Is Saladin really a cat?

Is Saladin really a cat? I just read the "Intelligence report stolen from the Tomas" and it says:

Quote:
Grace Cahill update 11/8/1964

It appears that rumors of Grace Cahill's army of vicious spider monkeys are largely false. It is still possible that she has some sort of trained pet that does her bidding. She is considered highly devious.

There could be other combinations :

Janus- #8 Ophir Dupham and #12 Taj Mahal. Ophir is in India anyway.

Ekaterina- #23 Victor Wood and #28 CERN. I think Victor will be a good addition to the CERN scientists.

Lucian- # 40 Alana Flores and # 42 Ching Shih. Alana could totally research about Ching because she is in Hong Kong.

Tomas- # 403 Clue Hunter's Best Friend and #54 The Northern Race.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Can't think of anything else.Very Happy

Am I the first to see the new card pack? That map-style cover looks almost like wood from a distance. Also, now we know that book 5 is red and book 6 is blue, if you observe the side.
