The only 3 names on the list that haven't been mentioned in the books there are Hope Diamond, Jean-Baptiste Tavernier, and Koh-i-noor. Jean-Baptiste Tavernier was a Frenchman who went on several journeys to Asia to study diamonds. Koh-i-noor and the Hope Diamond were both diamonds. Both were mentioned in his wikipedia article and there are 2 new ilikeuselessfacts articles. One about Koh-i-noor, and one about cursed diamonds which mentions koh-i-noor and the hope diamond. Jean-Baptiste Tavernier had possession of both. He was obviously a cahill and diamonds are made of carbon so carbon might be the next clue.

It sounds like the diamond might be what we'll be finding in the nest mission.

Cool. we'll get to break into the Tower of London or the National Museum of Natural History in DC.

Both articles about the diamonds have one of those peanut gallery guys saying that the diamond in the public place are copies and that the real ones have been missing. Usually the peanut gallery guys get it pretty close to right, so I'm guessing that it won't quite be as straight forward as breaking into those two historical sites.

But that's just a guess and I reserve the right to be wrong!

Is this new? I found this on the CahillWeb today.

http://www.the39clues.com/cahillweb/article/sinead-starling-movie-reviews

Check out the second last line

Quote:
Like this time my brothers and I had to build our own sailboat to explore this hidden island in the Caribbean

Theories
1) Island in Caribbean : Ekat stonghold in Bermuda?
2) Built their own sailboat which travelled very far : Possibility of Starlings being Janus? I thought Ekat could also be the answer but why would they want to sneak in and explore their own stronghold?
3) Also, if this article is new, then may be the Starlings are not exactly out of the competition yet...

Where did the wikibruce site find the names to the next cards in book 3?

EDIT: How come the links for the Mozart siblings and Fidelio Racco just leads back to the Cahill web?

You won't believe this...
The Book 3 cards' name given in wikibruce are real

Gosh! I just tried (invented) my own links to check if the cards are real, and they are. These are the Secret Archives links

33: www.the39clues.com/cahillweb/article/33-samurai-saladin
34: www.the39clues.com/cahillweb/article/34-alistair-oh
35: www.the39clues.com/cahillweb/article/35-hope-diamond
37: www.the39clues.com/cahillweb/article/37-jean-baptiste-tavernier

Sorry, couldn't invent working links for 36 and 38. My guess is that the names of those cards are fake. Rest all links work.

Notes:
33: Name doesn't match with photo. Who's that man standing in Tokyo subway? Doesn't look Japanese. Never seen before.
34: Letter from Alistair to Grace when they were children and Fiske was 'alive'. Grace gave Alistair book on diamond. Special mention on Hope Diamond.
35: Ekat steal French Crown Jewels, including Hope Diamond from Tomas and chip the 'clue part'. No idea why Hope Diamond is LUCIAN secret.
37: Plan for stealing Florentine Diamond from Grand Duke of Tuscany. Note by Tavernier, a Tomas agent. Tavernier apparently very dangerous.

Woa!!!

33: Maybe that is McIntyre.... dunno....
34: That was cute.... can't believe it was Alistair.... I wish I had Ekaterina Stationery.
35: Wierd...... Maybe that part of the Diamond was made with a special chemical/substance/whatever that was from Thomas Cahill.
37: Confused with this one.

Well, McIntryre said that the Starlings will not be able to hunt for clues on MoB so its unlikely that Scholastic will reintroduce them so soon. Maybe in the last book or so will the Starlings reappear and maybe help Amy and Dan.

Starlings could be Ekats but wanted to sneak into the Bermuda Triangle base for fun. They could have been captured but since they were Ekats anyway, they escaped unharmed.

Or.... Starlings could be the same mystery branch as Grace if we were we stick to the Fiske-Starling connection and was sneaking in on an errand for Fiske.... (or Grace if Fiske's disappearance was faked)

Saladin may not be just a name for Grace's cat but the name of the famous samurai Amy and Dan are suppose to find. The guy on card 3 may be a descandent of Saladin the Samurai.

Cards 35 and 37 could be cards for mission 3 as said by Wind Lane. Hope Diamond could be Lucian because they found out about the theft and this was in their archives. The clue could have been set into the diamond and had to chipped out.

Card 34 could just be an explanation on the Alistair-Grace connection and shows us how Alistair knew so much about Grace and cared for her grandchildren because they were close.

For cards 36 and 38, they could be under construction or they are clue cards. Maybe we could get 2 clues from book 3.
