Have you seen this?
Dear Cahill,

I know your branch has a Clue hidden with a diamond. Do you even know how dangerous this is? Just because you're a scientist and don't believe in curses doesn't mean they don't exist.

I suspect you'll call this website crazy nonsense, but I'm sending you the link anyway: The Truth Is Out There . These people are right way more often than they are wrong. Please be careful.

William McIntyre

Have you seen this?
Dear Cahill,

I know your branch is looking for a Clue that is hidden with a diamond. I feel I must warn you about how dangerous this is.

Please examine this link I'm sending you. It's a website that publishes conspiracy theories called The Truth Is Out There . Most people dismiss the site as rubbish, but these people are fools. They have no idea how often the website is right.

Please be careful.

William McIntyre

Anybody else think George Takei could play Uncle Alistair in the proposed movie really, really well?

I think they should just use the people that "play" as the characters for the movies. I wonder what Bae would look like.... I always pictured him as a short, fat man with a cigar. Very Happy

According to the book he's a short, slight man of advanced age. Smile

And he's the first family head we've gotten to see a little more up close. The rest are only mentioned or we're just given fleeting glimpses at what kind of people they are through the website.

Card Number Blues
Cards missing

No matter how much math I do, I can't work out why I am missing 7 cards online, 1 nomal( Card 60) . I have tracked it to this:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Arrow 1 Common Ekat Agent
Arrow 1 Common Lucian Secret
Arrow 1 Common Tomas Agent
Arrow 3 Common Cahill Agents
Arrow And 1 Ultra-rare Cahill Secret

Can anyone shed some light on this issue?

I thought of him as an old, fragile, thin old man with a black walking stick

MoB

I've got some doubts about the firt 2-3 chapters of MoB

Arrow When Grace dies, she was wearing her Jade necklace. Then HOW DID IT REACH HER JEWELERY BOX? AND HOW DID HER JEWELERY BOX REACH THE SECRET LIBRARY?? Question DID MCINTYRE PUT IT THERE? OR THE MAN IN BLACK? WHY???

Arrow Saladin is showed to be sitting next to Grace in her last moments. After Grace dies, he disappears under the bed when the MIB shows up. Then HOW DID HE REACH THE SECRET LIBRARY? Grace's funeral was after 2 days of her death. Saladin was surely put for some time in the library because if he stayed for 2 full days, the air would have run out. Did MIB put him there? Why? How can the MIB know about the library?

Whoa, you don't have to yell. As for the the jade necklace, it could have just had some secret and McIntyre just needed a safe place for it til later, and as for Saladin, she's a cat. Cat's go were they want, she could have just pressed the switch by accident. He(She?) even could have been trained to go there by Grace, but I doubt it.

Cats are also much smaller than people and might have found an alternate route into the hidden library.

Also, I don't understand the concern about Saladin running out of air. You don't normal make rooms in houses air tight. The vast majority aren't even water tight.

And as for how things got where they needed to go, wouldn't it make sense that the lawyer who knew the contest was coming would also know about Grace's secret library and what needed to be put where?

I'm not yelling. I just had a doubt. And, Saladin couldn't have entered the secret library himself since the buttons were high up in the wall. Actually, I asked this question since I wondered if this was a mistake by Scholastic.
