I don't know what you're thinking. The time span has got to be at least 5 days and any number of things & situations could have happened. We're here to solve the 39 clues & this has nothing to do with it. Saladin & the Jade necklace, a definite YES, but how they got there is a big time NO!

Also, after he looks up from the paper, you can see a man standing a little farther down the road. He may just be a random person who was standing there while they were video taping, but he looks rather suspicious if you ask me. Is he possibly the man in black?

I thought of the same thing but, the note is sent to Moscow whereas Vera and her family live in St. Petersburg. Of course, it is probable that at that time thay were in Moscow, but I'm still not so sure.

And, how do you know that Lilya's grandfather is Vladimir? Lilya's card says that her father's name is Vladimir.

No, actually both London and Russia support the Lucians, but Ekats work mainly in Russia, undercover. To make things clear, the Government (Tsar) is Lucian-controlled but the Space station and others are Ekat-controlled
