online collection titles

I know this has been discussed before, but I wanted to add that in my online collection, the card titles are shown as:

406 - "Agent's Training"
414 - "The Pup"
415 - "The Smallest Assassin"

USA player here.

I'll point y'all back to my list of 400+ cards - which due to confusion over numbering, are sorted by online code, and which cards are marked or unlocked by each code. That's the best way I could figure to sort them meaningfully.

Thank You Bruce

Phew! I was so confused....knew I had doubles (hand written notes) but didn't know where I got them from, lol. I bookmarked your page (very nice BTW).

Thanks again!

All Cards

I just received my 4 missing cards ( 8,9,27,58 ) from Ebay for 5$ total!

So I can tell you that having all the cards plus the 9x 400s we found so far doesn't change anything in the online game...doesn't unlock anything either. There are 8 spots left which I hope are 400s and we can find the codes before long!

Right now we are missing the codes for the following cards:

  • Card 400: Bookworm with attitude
  • Card 401: The Wannabe Ninja
  • Card 402: The Pint-Sized Assasin
  • Card 403: Clue Hunter's Best Friend
  • Card 408: Meijer Card
  • Card 409: Walmart Card UK
  • Card 411: Borders Card UK
  • Card 412: The Pit Bull

We are also trying to confirm is there is a physical version of the card for 404 and 410 (we know the codes for these cards, but are not sure if there is a physical card or not). We are also trying to confirm if there is a physical version of the 405 card with the number 405 on it (all the ones we have seen are numbered "2").

Granted, some of the cards seem to be printed with different numbers on them (for example there seem to be versions of 416 with the number 400 on them... but these 400 numbered cards to not unlock number 400 virtually... they still unlock 416), however we are still looking for cards/codes that actually unlock all cards from 400 - 416 (all 17 of them). For example we have the seperate codes for 410 and 406, even though the virtual cards "look" the same, they unlock seperate virutal cards. We want this for all the cards we believe "look the same" (such as 400/416, 401/413, 402/415, etc)

My surveillance camera codes are 22FC46MJX2 and 237DRWJJX2... use them and pass them on!

well technically, 406 and 410 do unlock two entirely different cards - the only similarity being the image. the number, title, and "more" url are all different... (one leads to agent training, the other to agent training UK). it makes sense in a way - each unique code should lead to a unique detail page. between the code and the card's detail page, some elements may be similar or duplicates of others.

Anyway, it's waaaay too confusing for the average kid, IMO, to figure all this out, let alone have this be a part of the game. We're just trying to sort out the mechanics of how the card system is programmed Smile

the 400+ cards
and clue?

Greetings,

I got some 400+ cards today that I traded with someone in Australia. The cards I got unlock virtual cards 413-416, but are numbered 400-403. This leads me to have some new questions. Here is what we know so far:

  • Virtual Card 404: The Spy Kit - G69CTWHC9T - Walmart - no physical card confirmed
  • Virtual Card 405: Surveillance - G69CKR3K9T - Borders - physical card confirmed in US printed as #2)
  • Virtual Card 406: Natalie's Strategy - G69DMK929T Independent Booksellers - physical card confirmed in US
  • Virtual Card 407: The Underdogs - G69GJPMM9T - Hastings - physical card confirmed in US
  • Virtual Card 410: Natalie's Strategy - G69D22369T - no physical card confirmed
  • Virtual Card 413: Ninja Boy - G69K3JP99T - Angus & Robertson - physical card confirmed in Australia (printed as 401)
  • Virtual Card 414: Clue Hunter's Best Friend - G69JTFHR9T - Angus & Robertson - physical card confirmed in Australia (printed as 403)
  • Virtual Card 415: The Pint-Sized Assasin - G69GJ9TF9T - Angus & Robertson - physical card confirmed in Australia (printed as 402)
  • Virtual Card 416: The Bookworm - G69GF9HN9T - Angus & Robertson - physical card confirmed in Australia (printed as 400)

This leads me to ask the following questions:
  • Is there anyone with a physical copy of card 404?
  • Is there anyone with a physical copy of card 405 that is numbered 405 (the ones we know about have a number 2)?
  • Is there anyone with a physical copy of the cards that unlock the virtual codes 413-416 that are numbered 413-416 (the ones I have are numbered 400-403)?
  • Is there anyone with a physical copy of card 410?
  • If there is not anyone with a physical copy of 404 and 410, how did we learn about the codes (I know there is supposedly some magazine with the code for 404 in it, but has anyone actually seen it)?
  • Does anyone know of any codes that we don't have in the above list?

Also, on the clues front... has anyone actually unlocked the 2nd clue? I got my 21 message in my "inbox" yesterday but none today. However, just as yesterday's message had you look at the 1st of 4 documents, I have found (by guessing the URL) of the second document. It is here:

http://www.the39clues.com/cahillweb/article/secret-document-two

I have not gotten this message yet (assuming it will be message 22); so I think we can all assume that our "training" is not over.

On a different note, I got a responce from 39 Clues today about the "404 error page" in the window at the botom left of the clues and cards page. Acording to them, "This is an error that our tech team knows about and is trying to fix. We will let you know when they solve it." I will let this group know if I hear anything more.

Lastly, I have not yet gotten a responce on the SASEs that I sent in for both the book codes or a card pack. I will let you know what they are like when I get them.

I appreciate your attempt to summarize things, but you are presenting things as definitive when they really are not. For instance:

My virtual cards for 406, 414, & 415 also have the different titles from what you list above. So clearly we don't know as much as we think we do!

Great find on the secret document two, though...

There is currently no leaderboard, but there may be one in the future. Many improvements and additions are planned for the 39 Clues site over the course of the next two years.

Card combinations are not yet available on The39Clues.com. There will be many new features and content available on the website as the hunt for The 39 Clues continues, so please check back soon to see the new features that are added to the site.

Your main goal in The 39 Clues is to collect all 39 Clues. Please note that there are many activities in The 39 Clues which have not yet been revealed, and new Clues will become available over the course of the ten Books.

- You can get one Clue from your Agent Inbox when all of the messages have arrived.
- You can get a Clue from adding each new Book card code to your Gallery.
- You will be able to get Clues through Missions, Card use, and other online play. These features are not yet available.

In the future there may be other, sneakier ways to gather Clues, as well as many fun activities with other rewards. Keep your eyes open and come back soon!
Confused
i learned this from one of the 39 clue people while i was emailing them we dont get another clue until we finish all the messages Sad its basically training for being an agent and everyone is on the same message

that you have to solve all the puzzles in the messages that you recieve in the game inbox there is a certain amount of messages and everyone is on the same message and as soon as you solve all of them(you get new ones each week to solve) you get the clue and become an agent that can do missions

just read what the 39 clues guy emailed me it tells you all that stuff
