Well i think that there isnt any normal person that doesnt have a bit of every branch in them. I have the least amount of janus in me out of all the branches, but i read music. You can have more of some branches in you than others but i think most people have at least characteristics of 2 branches in them.

No but they wouldnt have it to were they already know what the answer is about a quarter of the way through the series

The Philosopher's Stone will probably still be the secret of the 39 clues. As I posted earlier, all the clues except rosemary can be found to have links to alchemy. Since alchemy is about turning base metals into gold, the stone is also an attractive power to have (also makes a good ending unlike unity of the four branches). Unless Scholastic can perform a mind wipe to all 39 clues readers and change all the clues, I doubt there will be a different ending to the 39 clues.

Well maybe Grace found all the clues but didn't use them and when Hope died she hid copper somewhere else.

well we know she started the competition so A&D could find the clues. (It says at the beginning of MoB) Maybe she didn't find them all but she found copper and tungsten (and probably more). (in OFN she wrote in Nannerls diary 2 things that we can infer from that she knew that tungsten was the clue.)

Hmm.... according to the pattern now, the 10 books will most likely give us 10 clues only. The rest we can get from missions and cards. I doubt the story is going to be,

"Amy and Dan pulled out the old battered laptop that they had used for many months now in their cheap shabby hotel room. He switched on the computer and opened the Internet Explorer. Dan typed "www.the39clues.com" into the URL box and logged on to find out that he has a brand new online mission. He clicked on the "Missions" button eagerly as Amy and Dan prepared themselves for the challanges ahead...."

"Nellie stopped the Honda City a few blocks away from Borders. Amy and Dan got out of the rented vehicle and rushed to the entrance with haste to find that the Kabras, Alistair, Irina, the Holts, the Starlings, and Jonah Wizard were already there. Without wasting precious time, Amy and Dan barged through their competitiors and searched stressfully for the card pack that was their lead to the next clue. The other teams did the same scaring shoppers and staff alike. Amy saw a young terrified cashier call the police and she knew that time was not on their side. Amy and Dan rushed to the far corner of the bookstore to find the thing they have been looking for. The last remaining card pack. They quickly snatched the elusive pack and tore it open. After a few moments they whooped happily when they found that inside one of the silver wrapped card packets contained Card 60, the card that shows the clue that was implanted in their late mother, Hope...."

More likely, Amy and Dan may get a message from Grace in book 4, telling them where to find a hidden stash of clues. The stash may not have all the clues, but maybe it contains most of the clues. Why not, we did say that the title, "Beyond the Grave" may mean that Amy and Dan will get a message from their late relatives (Grace, Hope, Arthur, other Cahills unknown....)

I just checked Peter's tour dates. He's not due into Illinois until next Monday.

And he won't be in Philadelphia until April 18th.
