Re: Sayings
how?

Sorry for double posting, wats the problem with it?

I have some questions (2) really.

How do you get the little sayings down the bottom of your posts?

and

Whats the next level up for me, and how many posts is it way?

The little sayings are signatures; you add them by going to your profile and editing the signature column.

The next level for you (not counting kl00) is Veteran. You achieve this level by attaining 70 post count.

And I agree with glalieguy. Something's the matter. Lilya wrote quite well in her last letter. What is the matter?

Sorry, again
Double posting

The letter link reads
Quote:
I need a favour. I'm sendingyou quite a large
package containing a valuable diamond. I need you
to examine it for any imprefections, particularily
anything that might be carved inside. If you find
nothing, cut the diamond and sell it. If you do find
something, tell no one and contact me immediately.
Usethis code to respond
a b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t
u v w x y z

z a b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s
t u v w x y

-Grutty.

Thats the code we saw, we saw it imcomplete and now we know how it was a=b

were the first one was, eg u v w x y z
will be replaced by t u v w x y

Coded messages are ESHAYS

Are you saying that you think that even though they said that the answer is Philosopher's Stone in book three they're still going to change it at the last second, or have you just not read that book?

No but they wouldnt have it to were they already know what the answer is about a quarter of the way through the series

The Philosopher's Stone will probably still be the secret of the 39 clues. As I posted earlier, all the clues except rosemary can be found to have links to alchemy. Since alchemy is about turning base metals into gold, the stone is also an attractive power to have (also makes a good ending unlike unity of the four branches). Unless Scholastic can perform a mind wipe to all 39 clues readers and change all the clues, I doubt there will be a different ending to the 39 clues.

Alchemy concerns the Philosopher's Stone and the Elixir of Life. It is believed that the Elixir of Life is a by-product of the Philosopher's Stone. So, I still believe that the ultimate power will be both, the ability to transmutate and being immortal.

PS Sorry for the double post

Infinite gold and everlasting life is very tempting.... These rewards will definitely be a good prize for the 39 clues. If Amy and Dan win, Dan can be an immortal ninja lord! Laughing

My score is 136,621. What was your rank before Scholastic removed it? Mine was 19th. Very Happy

P.S: I wonder how's flagata doing?

Not that I am anywhere near the top like FLgata, EkatProf or DragonGirl, but I have 103,913 points and that put me in the top 100 (around #90 or so). I am incredibly bad at Gridlock, I don't know how I ever got a decent score on LabRat, and I have lost my mojo on Decoder.

I just got done reading through about a month's worth of posting. Just a couple of non-39C-related comments:
+ Looks like the forum has been taken over by teens.
+ Funny to see that one of the worst OT post offenders is now the police chief!
+ Happy belated birthday, Snuibi! (Mar13th is mine, too!)
+ Welcome back tyty!
+ I guess I was not absent long enough to make the "where are they now" list that snuibi put together. Sad

I wish I had a theory or two to contribute (sorry wacaga!).

I don't have anything called "my points". Is that the right name? Can you post a URL?

You know where they show you your points? beside that there's a little link that says "details". It'll show you your points on every game... and on the bottom yout total points and your place.

That really stinks, you can't see any places. Mad Just this mourning I saw my place for everything. Too bad I didn't write it down.

Whats the point of playing if you have no idea how good you must be? Don't they understand the satisfaction it gives us to be number 1!!! I mean we are Cahills after all.

As I said before, they probably did it to discourage the cheating that was going on. We are Cahills after all. Wink
