I think she did use it on herself and that she is not dead yet. I think that she might appear in the "Black Circle." Considering that I think she is a Madrigal and book 5 is about Madrigal.

That brings up a very good question. I dont remember MoB saying that A&D saw Grace's body and get buried. All i remembered is that A BODY in a SEALED COFFIN was buried.

Further proof that Grace is alive?

My speculations (some of them have already been posted):

-- Maybe she didn't want to live forever due to personal reasons (loss of only child etc.)

-- She didn't fell herself worthy enough for the ultimate prize (guilty conscious of past, unknown sins)

-- She wanted her children/ grandchildren to surpass her, she just kept tabs on Clues to help them

-- She wanted the worthy one to win. This explains why she took the trouble to hold an open contest instead of just telling A&D to find the clues. Also explains why she didn't give A&D inside info. Again, she kept tabs to help people on the quest.

This is also a good argument to the "Is Grace Alive or Dead" debate. Does anyone care to start a new thread?

Whatever the number of cards is, it is almost certain that there will be more cards in the set than before.

The card packs may have less cards too. Wink

Maybe 14 cards instead of 16.

Possible Clue List Discovered?

I was looking at my cards by the light of my energy saving bulb when i saw card 65 (Grimm Tales). It struck me as a card about alchemy so I looked at the back of the card at the crossed out alchemy list and my jaw dropped.

Within second I saw clues like zinc, cooper and iron. I also managed to make out "amber" too.

Not all 10 clues were on the list but the card may reveal a certain portion of the 39 clues which one if them could be amber.

What do you guys think?

A couple of things-
1. How do you know the clue comes in 15 days?
2. How are you going to stop the Janus just doing there makeup, the luciens from poisoning everyone, the skate from blowing up the tomas and the tomas beating the Censored

out of the ekats?

Ah.... you said a couple but you ask THREE questions. Never mind, I shall answer your burning questions.....

1. Book 4 comes out in 15 days according to www.the39clues.com and with it the next clue.
2. Nice one about the Janus and the makeup! Keep in mind that there are very few live and free Cahills left in this sector so a truce is unfortunately nesscary in this dire situation.
3. My sector does not have many strong strongholds of any branch so the Madrigals chose to eliminate us first. Also, a Clue is rumored to be here.

P.S: Remember that the story about the war and the Clue is fictional but the part about my internet down is true. Have a nice day! Very Happy

Others related to clues:
Vital Air (Hydrogen)
Iron (Iron Solute)

Amber is, as Ekatprof said, is given

List made by Torbern Bergman in his 'Dissertation on Elective Affinities'.

I think Scholastic is using this 1775-made list as a basis for Clues.

So out of the 10 clues, we have iron, copper, zinc, gold and phosphorus. Half of the ten.

This list may not show all 39 clues but a lot of the clues may come from this particular list. Some of the clues may be the "pure faced mineral" or "essential oil" in the list.

PS David Livingstone was the discoverer of Victoria Falls, where Lilya is currently heading.

Anyway, Maybe Lilya's dad sent her on a mission to Victoria Falls to find a clue... but didn't tell her because she might tell everybody. The clue could be something valuable buried under there, and Lilya is good at fnding valuable stuff. Very Happy
