Umm...
Um...

Um... Does anyone else think that book 8-9 will bring Amy and Dan back to their parents home. As you may all notice, at a rate of 1 clue per book, Amy and Dan will never get all the clues at the end of book 10. Unless, they had a cheat sheet, such as that of their parent's. And quite possibly, they will have to look to the MAdrigal's secrets in order to finish their parent's unfinished list. Sorry if this post has been repeated, I would rather not look through the 200 posts in this forum.

Man, these breaks between information and books and stuff is a killer - we haven't gotten some piece of info that completely confuses everyone as to what it actually means in a long time. Having something to obsess over keeps fans talking and happy!

WIKIPEDIA

I know that I mentioned this a few months ago, but it is really getting on my nerves. Someone, or some group of people, keep editing the wikipedia page on the 39 clues with wrong information. Mainly, its on the list of people in each branch, and for the Janus branch it looks as if someone dumped their favorite singers on the list. I actually prefer the wikibruce, but every now and then I like to check wikipedia, and it is very annoying.

I am sort of over-reacting, but there hasn't been much going on with this forum lately, so I thought I would post something.

Here's some new random things.

1. There's a new poll on the 39 clues website. It goes:

Which is the best infiltration tool?
-Lock pick
-Grappling hook
-Crowbar
-Ladder

Lock pick seems to be the clear favourite followed grappling hook, crowbar and ladder.

2. There's an Advance Agent Training Live Web Telecast on the 2nd of November http://www.teacher.scholastic.com/the39clueswebcast/ featuring the 5 authors and Whoopi Goldberg. More likely this is another "reader ask "super-agents" (eg. Gordon Korman) about 39 clues secrets"

Someone has posted on the 39 clues wikipedia that book 6 will not only take place in Australia, but "off the coast of Burma" as well.

As for Book 7. here's what someone wrote:

Quote:
Book 7: The Military Madness
This book is to be written by Peter Lerangis and released on February 2, 2010. Shaken by a shocking loss, Amy and Dan flee to an exotic land and trace the footsteps of their most formidable ancestor yet: a military leader of mythic proportions. But just as the siblings begin to master the art of ancient warfare, they confront a dangerous enemy - the truth. With the stakes higher than ever, Amy and Dan uncover a devastating secret about the Cahill family that changes everything.

Probably another prank but interesting if it really comes true....

According to Amazon that is the correct description but the title isn't true.

Out of curiosity, who got card 423 The Hunted, without a replicator? If you have the code (or if one even exists) please post that too. [/code]

The Live Web Telecast

We now have a chance to ask the authors a question by submitting our own? Go to http://www.teacher.scholastic.com/the39clueswebcast/ and go to "Submit A Question" and your question may be asked! No name or personal details required. No limit to number of questions.

On another note, all five author dossiers are available on the same website which has confidential intel. The remote part of the world that a Clue Hunter dies in book 6 may be in:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Galapagos Islands

according to a reference to them in Gordan Korman's dossier.

New e-mail for each branch. Looks like the Janus & Lucian intercepted the following e-mail, and then the Tomas and Ekats stole the e-mails from them.
Quote:
To: [recipient name blocked]

From: William McIntyre

I heard about what happened in the Amber Room. It might give us an advantage if the children trust you rather than fear you. Even after all they've witnessed, it is not in Amy and Dan's nature to think ill of people. It makes them very vulnerable.

The children found those Australian passports Hope and Arthur used. They're en route to Australia now. I fear what Amy and Dan discover there may turn them from the path we need them to follow. We must do whatever possible to hide the truth about their parents.

I will continue to keep you updated. Please e-mail me so I know that you're alive, and not rotting away in some Lucian dungeon.

- William
