 		I was re-reading book 1 and I came across this.

Grace got the Necklace from China, and take one guess where book 8 is ment to go.
So im guessing Book 8 is in China, It is a Janus (Green) or Ekaterina (Dragon).

Book 6 was an Ekat clue, so the pattern is useless muje.

Also, it has to either be a Janus clue because the letter at book six's end mentions how the Tomas have a lead on the chinese legend, or a cahill clue because they recently replaced a few branch clues into other branches like pepper which used to be Ekat and Platinum whichused to be Lucian. The only reason I say cahill is a possibility is because there are very little cahill clues and it seems they are going to go after the path of the Madrigal their parent met.

What I mean't was that he said the pattern leads to Janus. And if the pattern was from the first 4 books, then it would be an ekat clue. And the Cahill one, maybe. The card pack is Rise of the Madrigals. So...

Thats the old pattern... The new pattern is

Book 1: Lucian
Book 2: Janus
Book 3: Tomas
Book 4: Ekat
Book 5: Lucian
Book 6: Ekat
Book 7: Tomas

This means that Book 8 will be Janus and Book 9 could be Lucian...Book 10 ...no idea...maybe Cahill with the last 3 clues from card pack 4!! Though that would make missions 9 and 10 Tomas clues

another rant
Personally, i don't think there is a pattern, i think it is based on what ever the author feels like. Scholastic is not known for consistency. 50 day theory, nope (book 8 is only about book 7) and so they really don't care. That is dumb though, since the whole series is puzzles the other stuff should be too. I mean that is the whole point of the 39 Clues, figuring out puzzles.
