IE: They'll go after Amy and Dan.

I'm thinking, Vespers Rising is written by 4 authors, so maybe it's in 4 parts?

Surely they have to have all 39 Clues. How else could they be so evil? Me saying this knowing only what was said about the Vespers in Book 10.





But they can't have all the clues.... otherwise we wouldn't need another series. Isabel explained that she was evil before the Serum.




Read the description for how evil the Vespers are. Respers Rising. They must have had 100's of years to find the Clues, and no Madrigals to stop them. In Harry Potter Books 5-7 Voldemort was powerful already and they were the 3 longest books in the series.




If they had all the Clues, wouldn't all the books just be a glorified brawl? If both Dan and the Vespers have the Clues, that's pretty much all it could be.

Besides that, some Clues were hidden in locations the Vespers couldn't have possibly gotten to. Mace, for example. That was hidden inside a locked box. The Vespers couldn't have possibly gotten all the keys, opened the box, and put them back where they were. Even if they had, wouldn't they just steal the Clue and the lead so no Cahills could ever find either?


Someone had to put it in.



And it was Madeline Cahill.
Book one is called Vesper Rising, they can't rise if they already have all of the clues.


Actually, Anne Bonny put the Clue in there. The Clue was put in there in the 1700s (when Anne Bonny lived), centuries after Madeleine Cahill's death.

My idea was that they find the Clues in Vespers rising. Read my original post. Also, they could have stolen it before Anne Bonny put it in the box. That's what I meant.

I had to cut off the quote pyramid before the mod struck us all with a banhammer.

Anyway, you say the Vespers already got all 39 Clues. They couldn't have possibly gotten the serum formula. If they did, they would've killed the Cahills who helped them get it, and immediately thereafter smashed the vial, destroying all evidence of the formula forever. Remember, you can't just go out and buy the serum formula, like you can the other 38 Clues.

And concerning the mace problem. If the Vespers were truly as desperate to get the Clues as we rule them out to be, they probably would've stolen the mace and then bought up all the other mace in the area, just so that no Cahills could get at it. I doubt Anne Bonny would sail thousands of miles off-course, even for Clues. And who would stop them from taking more Clues in that way? The lead to the formula would still be locked in the box, but with big fat unknowns all over the equation, the incomplete serum would pretty much be so much useless slop.

 		If the Vespers are as smart as I take them to be, they'd have resealed the box. And I'm not saying they've got it yet. I'm saying that I think they'll find it in Vespers Rising.

 		That doesn't fit at all. The whole point is likely all about keeping them from getting the clues and the formula. If they've already got it, they use it and rule the world. Not exactly much of a fight if who you're fighting won before you begin.

 		Still, they've had a lot of time to get all the Clues, if they don't have all of them, they should have most.

 		And this brings us right back around to a very simple point: If the Vespers already had most of the Clues, then what would be the point of the second series? As I stated earlier, a battle between two parties both holding all or most of the Clues would simply be a glorified, extended brawl. Nobody wants The 39 Clues to lower itself to that.

I know technically it's finished, so for Vespers Rising, are you going to keep the same The 39 Clues part of the forum or make a new Vespers Rising part of the forum? Or have you already done that and I'm blind and that's why this thread is empty?
