Well, the whole purpose of the Spymaster is to be able to inliftrate a group, gain their trust and destroy them from the inside. What better way to do that with someone who looks like a crazy old grandmother who looks harmless? Can you imagine if her partner in Interpol was the vesper?  		Hey guys! I'm new around here but not to the 39 clues.. Razz I have a theory about who

I believe vesper one is, just based on previous theories of mine such as fiske Cahill being the man in black (after boom two my friend and I came to this conclusion when he was mentioned in the cards and I believe the book as well) Arthur Josiah Trent, the father of Amy and Dan, who apparently survived the fire at the end of book 2 in the new series. Another clue leading to this would be on his card, there is a V symbol on the gate. Even though he severed his ties with the vespers accordingly, he may have not... Very Happy thoughts guys?

 		Arthur Trent alive or dead? :o
Is Arthur Trent really alive, or was it a forged text message, or was the person who buried "Arthur" himself? They have pictures of his grave and hopes next to each other? Would Amy and Dan do the unthought of to really discover if he was alive? WOULD THEY DIG UP HIS GRAVE? Would they dig up their own mothers as well? Just to find out the truth?

And i have a hint to Arthur being vesper one.

Does anyone remember the person at the circus describing the man with the burn? Arthur ran back into the fire if i am correct, no? What if he got burned? WHAT IF HE IS VESPER ONE?

Erasmus is Arthur Trent who I think is Vesper 2. I thought this right after I read page 72. Also, Erasmus was a little to keen on saying "He's a good man." Plus, how would Trent know his children know him as living?

He DOES have burns, from, you know, burning the house of one of his peasants down.
