I got Young Grace, Annie Oaley, Heinrich, Ace of spies, Marie Curie and flying ace when I registered.

I also tried to use your code, but have already used it Sad It won't give me two of them. Thanks for hte extra code tyty2001.

Is anyone else holding out on us? Wink Now is your chance to come clean.

Then maybe we are only allowed to get one card from the surveillance code and that would explain the other one I have. I didn't remember getting those cards at that point but if you did, then I must have also.

I've played with the answers on the quiz and have managed to make an account under each branch. All 4 accounts have the same 6 cards even before entering the book code.
That's why I'm guessing you got them too.

Okay, thanks. But darn, I was hoping that I had figured out something that no one else had. But then what does the message on the back of card #1 mean? I still don't know how I got the other extra card. We are looking at getting my son his own book so he can have the first 6 cards, if we do that then I'll put up his code and try to keep a close eye on his account to see what happens when the code is used. I guess back to the thinking table for me.

Chapter 1, next book

Just found a PDF Chapter One of One False Note. It was on the Scholastic website dubbed "Leaked content from Amy and Dan's next adventure"

http://www.scholastic.com/kids/39clues/assets/FalseNote_Bk02.pdf

Also, there is a YouTube of Gordon Korman announcing a live webcast interview on Dec. 1st.

Extra Cards

a_soldiers_wife wrote:
Okay, I just got done checking all my cards. I might be totally off base with this idea but if so then what would be the explanation for what I found. Six times I found that the website said I had 2 cards of a certain type but when I checked my cards on hand, I only had 1 of each. And then there was one card that showed 4 online but I only had 3 on hand. I know that is only 7 cards and on a forum this big you'd think that it would be higher if I was correct but I see no other reason for it. The cards in question are: Young Grace; Annie Oakley; Heinrich Heinrichson; Ace of Spies; Marie Curie; Ophir Dupham; and Flying Ace. I am open to other possible explanations if you've got them.

I've already put my surveillance camera code on here but I'll put it up again and then check in a day or two to see if there are any more cards and post if I see any differences.

I think that you may find that these "extra" cards are cards that relate to the emails in your in box. When the email is about a particular person or thing, you receive an electronic copy of the relevant card without having to enter the number.

For example, as soon as the email about Annie Oakley appeared, I had an Annie Oakley card while in real life, she was one of the LAST cards I collected a physical copy of....

New Home Page

Is it just me or is there a new start page on the 39 Clues Game page?

Try clicking on the big 39 (in the middle of the row between the four family crests). I get a page with sections labeled 'My Game', 'My Cards', 'My Clues' which I have never seen before. It reports that I have 71 cards (out of ?).

That's the spirit! Thank you for sharing! Too bad more people aren't aware of this. Did Scholastic make it clear that the codes can be shared? Or is it just on the help section. I didn't know it could be until I found this forum. But we had no promotion here. It just showed up in the bookstore one day and since I love puzzles I bought it. So far, it's been great fun!

I don't know if Scholastic really did anything to make it known that the surveillance codes could be shared besides putting a note on the card itself. That is how I found out about the passing it on part of it but I didn't have anyone to share the code with until my family got accounts also. There is a code on the card that can be solved, I don't think it has to be but I don't see how it could hurt to solve it. Then on the back of the card there is a note at the top that says to log into the website to see what happens when you share the code. I don't think that is the exact wording but that should cover the basic idea of it.

The new "home page" that you get to by clicking on the big 39 appeared during the reorganization right before clues #2 & 3 (and mission #1) were revealed. Now, when routinely looking for changes, I click "The Game," "My Clues, "My Cards," "Cahill Web," and the big 39 in the center.

Both are old content.
The "featured" links rotate at least once a day.
I've got a list of 112 pages on the "cahill web." The last "new" one I remember was the Gordon Klose Blog that you can't search for using SEARCH, but you can see from your message #25 in your inbox.
I also think it's strange (and mentioned previously) that clicking "George McClain" gives you nothing.

This is GREAT!

Where did you get these codes? Are they on actual cards? Or did they come from somewhere else (if from a website can you share the link)? If they came from an actual card(s) where did you get them? And where in the world do you live?

With the finding of these 4 codes it does seem like the physical cards that were found in Aulstrailia that are numbered 400-403 are indeed misprints (they should be numbered 413-416 and have a different name... or contain these codes that littlewood's mom found.

thanks!!!!!

Only 3 more left!!!!

My surveillance camera codes are 22FC46MJX2 and 237DRWJJX2... use them and pass them on!
