card
bug cam

I think that the card number one acts as an real artifact because it's the only card that you can pass
so
if you more share it you more can get help. think like an Eka if you have that little bug-cam, you'll want to use it?

and about the branch of Dan and Amy, i think that is coincidence.
if you see always in the video, in the bottom appear the family tree.
and the familes' crest in the any order
think in the home page of the 39clues Janus and Lucian appear on the left and Eka and Tomas on the right

The only thing we can add on 408 (found at wikibruce various) is that it's called "The Spaz" and the Link to it shows Photo/Info on Irina Spasky. She's definitely Lucian. I don't know, after looking at the possible card matches, 408 just doesn't seem to fit. Maybe there's no match!

Right - this isn't new informaiton. It is widely accepted that 407 and 408 are the only 400+ cards without a "twin". This is likly because they are cards set asside for Meijer and Hastings, both of which are US only companies (so there is no need to release versions outside the US).

My surveillance camera codes are 22FC46MJX2 and 237DRWJJX2... use them and pass them on!
I'm trying to get caught up. Is it true there that there are no Physicals for 413 or 416 like shown on wikibruce(& still do)?
Crash & Burn again! It's not the 1st &, for sure, not the last. The Real Pip: you're right on with your info- 400 to 403 Physicals that show Online 413-416 are MISPRINTS! Well, what other surprises are coming our way?

I apologize. During the school week, I don't have time much time for this forum, 15-30 minutes at the most, which is very late at night. I remember going through the posts, stopping and making a reply to the post you mentioned. I stopped there not reading the rest of the posts since it's close to Midnight & I've got to teach school the next day. Sorry! And although I don't remember the P.4 thing, I apologize as well. I was probably rushing again as it seems I'm always doing. I hope you understand. Sorry!

Thanks for the appology it is appreciated, but As a Lecturer myself, I can't abide the excuse. You either make time or don't do things.

Laughing but you must be a man they seem to have a harder time doing two things at once. Wink As I'm doing reading this thread now, I'm also grading research papers for my BA students. Laughing No nastyness is intended by my response, I'm trying to make lite of the situation. It's better to get a good nights sleep than post past midnight. Especially if you're working with Kids. University Students are bad enough! Years ago when I taught primarys, they just about were the death of me if I didn't get a full nights sleep!

Carnival

At the risk of distracting people from discussing the promo cards... Wink

I just loaded the carnival card (#61) and I noticed that the card description mentions that it is from a painting that hung in Grace's Attleboro mansion -- AND THE SECRET POWER OF THE CAHILLS! Exclamation

Isn't that what we are searching for with the 39 clues -- the source of the Cahill power? Anyway, I decided to see what I could tell from the card. In the background, there is a domed structure that I believe is the St Mark's Basilica (Basilica di San Marco a Venezia). According the wiki,
Quote:
For its opulent design, gilded Byzantine mosaics, and its status as a symbol of Venetian wealth and power, from the 11th century on the building was known by the nickname Chiesa d'Oro (Church of gold).
So, once again we have the idea that gold has something to do with what we seek....

BTW, Venice Carnival 2009 is scheduled for Friday, February 13, 2009 - Tuesday, February 24, 2009. I wonder if the game will do anything that coincides with the actual Venice Carnival.

for that matter, they should give us all the missing promo cards for Christmas Very Happy

It would be neat if they did. Didn't someone get a card on Houdini's birthday? It would be a great added "lesson" for the kids if they had something added that coincided with different things on the cards or with events or famous people in the book.

Disco Volante

katsmom wrote:

That would have been me. They loaded Houdini's card for me on Halloween, which was actually Houdini's death date. I thought that it might have been something that everyone got, but it turned out that they gave me a card because I found a bug in the website. Smile

I entered another card that has piqued my curiosity. This time it is card#11 Hidden Notes. The card mentions "Disco Volante" (which btw translates to flying saucer) being a Janus hangout. So, I tried to figure out if the place actually exists. In Fort Worth, Texas, there is a restaurant/bar called The Flying Saucer that keeps over 100 beers on tap. That would be cool as a Janus Hangout. Smile Anyway, I got nowhere. The hits I get with "disco volante" +venice are either related to a 1964 movie or an Alfa Romeo sports car. So I switched to +venice +"disco volante" bottega della musica. The hit that looked most interesting was related to a 90's California band named Mr. Bungle. If anyone can find it, it would be katsmom. Wanna see what you can dig up?

EDIT: I finally decrypted the puzzle on card #11. It reminded me of an article that I read when I was trying to find out what "Rembrandt's Secret" meant (several days ago). A multi-disciplinary team from the medical and museum worlds recently collaborated to develop a new scientific technique that seeks to understand the aging process. They applied their technique to 40 of Rembrandt's self-portraits from various periods of his life to retroactively diagnose his cause of death. Here is the link to the article:
http://www.israel21c.org/bin/en.jsp?enDispWho=Articles^l1731&enDispWhat=object

That can't just be a coincidence, can it?

Surveillance code

Can someone help me. I tried to post my surveillance code on this site and I've got it out in news & rumors and I can't find the help section to remove it so I can put it in the correct place. I've never joined a forum before and just blew it.

Did you notice about the icon of the 39 clues?
I mean the key

Did you see the C (of Cahill)?
but the most important thing, if you see the M (MADRIGAL)
at the end, the see on the top and the M on bottom

Those first five are the same and the last one has too many digits.

Yep. We've been through all of that. Did you have any theories to expound upon that have not yet been covered in previous posts? Have you read through all the posts? Have you read the note at the top left of the forum?

Eventually, one of the admins will move it over. If you want, you could send them a PM. I think that since you posted as a guest, you can't delete it.

EDIT: Looks like sapagoo moved it!

Thanks for the code!

I am not sure I understand what you mean by a "real artifact". I recall that someone (katsmom, perhaps?) theorized that the more people that use your code, the greater advantage you gain, so she has launched a campaign to get folks to share their codes. Are you suggesting something more specific than that? Maybe there is a way to use the surveillance cameras to gain additional info when it has been shared out? That would be a little scary if by my loading all those codes, it gives other players insight into what I am doing. Exclamation Shocked

Yes, I think that is what everyone has agreed. While the Ekat and Janus crests are generally under Amy and Dan, respectively, that is not an indication of which family they belong to. Can we put this one to bed now?

You probably only want to post *shareable* card codes. The other codes can only be registered to ONE account.

I mean exactly what you said about the camera, because it's the only card that i have record that says "share me!" and the second, third, fourth and so on person that put the code just get the camera and do not get all the cards that sound me like spy or maybe it's because my branch...
I'm not an Eka
