Yeah!

You know, I'm surprised that he didn't make a smart score that looked like it could be beaten, but could not be beaten.

Also...

The 39 clues people should make sure there is no cheating in their contests.

(WARNING! YOU MAY GET CONFUSED FROM THIS) The reason sometimes a card may say NULL is because the only way for the computer to read the card is to put the code in. The computer half knows what it is about.

My surveillance camera code is 23F2KHK7X2

It seems odd that he didn't divide the score between the games, or at least play some of the other games and get a token score to "prove" his legitimacy. If you are going to cheat, cheat sensibly!

Weird page numbering revealed!

The crazy page numbering in the maze of bones said this: Annie Cahill did not drown.

Cards codes like on The Bookworm can be used more than once on your 39 clues account using the same code!

Your excitement about the game and desire to help all of us is appreciated, but just to let you know, the things you're telling us are already covered in this thread.

You may want to read through it to see what there is that you hadn't found out yet. It's really quite informative.

Again, thanks for being so into all of this as we all are, it's always good to find more allies. Smile

Is anyone else having trouble opening their account?

I have a guess as to why he used that game. It is the only one (I think) that says at the end "transferring score" or something like that. When I saw that status bar, I had some devious thoughts Twisted Evil wondering if it were possible to somehow change the score at the exact instant before it was transmitted. For anyone with some programming skills it's a natural thought. The "hacker" is likely a teenage kid trying to see if he could just force a number in there, never expecting it to actually work.
The reason for the 176 million points could be as simple as he didn't know what he was doing -- hackers have to start honing their craft somewhere. Wink

Anyway, I'll bet that the 39 Clues folks have already noticed it and taken appropriate measures. I would be surprised if that score stays up there too much longer.

BTW, I got an incredible score on Decoder today Very Happy . I got up to #5 (still 22 overall, though). I have vastly improved on Skeet Shoot (thanks tyty2001!), but it still kicks my butt!
