No. 1st 6 are for Book 2 (17-22), the next 3 are those as before (408,409 & 412). The last 1 is the only new 400 (417).

And I hope it's not premature to bathe in the glory of correctly theorizing upon the existence of more 400 cards. Take that you non-believers!(wacaga, I beleive unequivocally stated there would only be PROMO cards for the first book) I take joy in even the smallest of victories. Very Happy

Congratulations. I based my theory on photo credits for the 1st 3 Books at 39Clues.com where they only give credit for Cards 400-416. There is still no photo credit for 417. So this does open the door for more 400's.

Don't forget the Starlings. Something strange about those 3 but I can't quite put my finger on it yet.

Shocked WOW. You must have been building up to that for some time now. Got to admit that it made me feel bad. The stutter remark might not have been the nicest response, but I thought he was mocking my answer (though it might have been more an ESL issue). My most sincerest apologies to snuibi.

Fiske & Ned

For Alice, Katsmom, Dragongirl & other scholars of the 39 Clues. Go to Cahill Web. Search Fiske Cahill for photo. Now check Ned Starling for photo. Could be something, could be nothing, but I thought it worthy of your expertise with a comment or 2.

This doesn't warrant a new topic, does it?

Fiske & Ned

For Alice, Katsmom, Dragongirl, and other 39 Clues scholars. Go to Cahill Web. Search Fiske Cahill for photo. Now do the same for Ned Starling. Maybe something, maybe nothing, but worthy of a comment or 2. I'll let you decide.

Other than the hair I don't see a real resemblance. Ned has blue eyes, and Fiske's seem darker ( I know it's in b&w ) but my sons are blue and in b&w photos they look lighter than that. I could be wrong though, it's been known to happen. or maybe your suggesting that Fiske could be the father of the Starlings... perhaps.

Ned and Fiske

I believe that he will be thier father as he would be way to old to be Ned!!!
Also, has anyone else got Book 2 yet???
I saw it at the shops today (NO JOKE) but didn't have my wallet with me.
It's also 10 dollars more than usual, so my mum wants me to wait till a cheaper shop gets it.
I'll also say that I skimmed through it and that it's really good!!!!
If anyone lives in NSW, Australia, it's in Unleashed books, Miranda.

and alice i did a research on lewis and clark expedition look what i found:
The Expedition

The men were gathered and in the winter of 1803–4 were trained in Illinois across the Mississippi from St. Louis, the starting point. In May, 1804, they set out up the Missouri, and the next winter was spent at the Mandan villages (near present Bismarck, N.Dak.). In 1805 the hardest part of the journey was made. After reaching the Three Forks of the Missouri River (and naming the three branches after Jefferson, Madison, and Gallatin in loyalty to the administration), they followed the Jefferson as far as they could. Then their Shoshone guide, the remarkable woman Sacajawea, helped to obtain horses for them to continue across the high Rockies. They crossed the Continental Divide at Lemhi Pass and went over the Bitterroot Mts. through Lolo Pass. They had reached the land of westward-flowing rivers, and for part of their way they followed the Clearwater River down to the Snake River (long called the Lewis). The Snake took them to the Columbia River and they spent a miserable, rainy winter season in Fort Clatsop, a crude post they built on the Pacific coast.

In the spring they started back across the continent. In July, 1806, the party split for a time in order to explore as much territory as possible. Lewis went with a group down the Marias River, while Clark and most of the men descended the Yellowstone River; they were reunited on the Missouri at the mouth of the Yellowstone on Aug. 12, 1806. The party arrived in St. Louis on Sept. 23, 1806, and were greeted with much acclaim. The route of the expedition is commemorated by a series of sites along the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail.

The importance of the well-planned, well-executed expedition (only one person had been lost) was enormous. Although it was not the first transcontinental crossing in the north (Alexander Mackenzie had preceded them in a remarkable voyage), it opened vast new territories to the United States. Its influence on the history of the West is incalculable. Its results matched the efficiency and capability of its leaders.

since this book has a lot of "history lessons" in it, go look up the reality of Sacajawea. It appears that this was just an invention of story tellers. It is probablye that they had an indian guide, but male or female is not certain, and a name has not been determined without doubt. Many others have been offered up as possibilities.

Usless trivia. This won't help at all with the game I'm sure!

No book 2's here in HK yet.
