Is it just me or does Marlena look fine at 0:13 at what I asume is the bridge scene?

B: It has happened to a few others, and marlena got it after?

C: Somehow, it was already known about the after effects of the "bite"

On the 1-18-08 page in the 1:24A pic that woman seems to be holding herself weird and the soldier is looking at her, dunno could be nothing or she could be one of the first exploders.

yeah good point, that could be the first bite. Still, something about how they have approached the bite, (pictures of marlena all messed up, exploding scene, clip of her bleeding), just makes it seem like she'd be the first.

I just don't see how there would be that HUGE commotion over the first one, especially if they don't even know what it does yet, and probably wouldn't want to cause any more panic than there already is.

almost confirms the little ones. Plus someone said in an interview that the subway scene was their fav. IMHO, Mr. Grumpypants wouldn't fit in the subway... Mini Grumpypants' could though!

That, I believe is something added in just for the commercial, she doesn't say that in the widget clip, which I believe is directly from the film.

So I'm thinking they lifted the sound bite from somewhere else in the film.

I think the TV spot and the trailer mentioned here are the same thing, can you confirm that Enchanted One? In which case, can you carry on discussion in that thread? If not, ignore me Smile

Possibly. But it may be that the widget clip is also edited Sad and not an exact representation of that part of the film.

Nice work!
Could anyone who saw it tell if they've fixed the clock on the far side of the bridge?

I'm 99% sure now there are little ones, there has to be. But I wonder how it affects people now. Perhaps those who have drank Slusho are the ones who are susceptible to mutation when bit.

slusho will have nothing to do with who gets bit, nor will we hear the word slusho in the movie. slusho has done its part in this greater process.

Maybe, maybe not. Jason is still wearing his Slusho! shirt in the trailer (watch scene with people taking picture on SoL's head in the street).

Then there's this from the MTV interview with Michael Stahl-David
MTV interview wrote:
As such, Stahl-David can't even acknowledge the "Cloverfield" existence of a certain icy drink that recently launched a bizarre commercial online. "The concept of Slusho! is something that I'm not at liberty to discuss," he recited robotically, only half-kidding. "I think [my character] might've been better off if he found some Slusho! [during the attack], but that would've been too much like Popeye eating his can of spinach."

Well, in the trailer, when Rob is talking into the camera, he says "[...], some thing [attacked the city]." Also, when viewing the widget's video, in the top right corner is the phrase, "Some thing has found us", in uppercase. I am 99% the narrator put emphasis on thing.

Still not enough evidence, big monster could have small feeler-like tentacles which have mouths on them and bite people.

I think we can drop the "Slusho! makes people explode" rubbish though.
