[SL]Packages
post information about any physical object recieved from characters...

I recieved a package today from 2c. inside the envelope were 2 cds, each with the labels "not the information" "gift" on the sleeves. inside one of the sleeves was a 2 of clubs playing card, with a "www.silverladder.com" label on the back. the first disc is EBN's album "Telecommunication Breakdown" in it's entirety. the second disc is full of Radiohead acoustic and rare tracks. I've uploaded pictures of the package, which you can find here...

Extremely cool.

I'd suggest photoshopping your address off the envelope though (at least the street addy) so some OOG clown doesn't mail crap to you acting like he's IG.

(jealous, but happy for you) Smile

Edit: If you don't have Photoshop, a lot of us do and will be happy to do it for you.

Or you could just black it out with MS paint, like I do. Smile

2C mentioned he had someone mail it for him - someone who lives or works near the area of Phoenix that I live in, and that Scare had that package sent to.

The farthest away it would've been coming from is Tucson anyway, because that's where 2C lives.

Oh wow, way for me to totally ignore this thread.

To date I have received two items (hand-delivered, no nifty Silverladder labels on the stuff I've gotten) from the Two of Clubs, and honestly, I expect no more. I've actually gotten two more things than I ever expected. Smile

The first gift I received was a Starbucks gift card, during our intial 15-second meeting. This was more than just a gift -- he's sure the Korp is trailing him (and quite positive that there was actually a spy watching the two of us) and Starbucks is just about as Korp as it gets. It's very... not his style, as he put it.

The second gift I received was a copy of The Catcher in the Rye. The "favorite book" listed on his MySpace is The Catcher in the Rye, and it's also one of my favorites (along with 1984, which I need to buy a copy of)... I've been intending to tell him such since the first day I saw his MySpace, but it kept slipping my mind. I finally told him sometime last week, and he messaged back with a lovely story about how one day back in college, it was such a nice day, and he *really* didn't want to go to class... so he didn't. He went to a bookstore, bought a copy of Catcher in the Rye, and spent all day reading it on his patio. (I'll copypaste the message in here when I get home -- I can't access MySpace here at work.) He told me he still had the exact copy of the book.

Last night, when we had our actual meeting that I apparently had to earn (haha) he handed me the copy of the book, and told me it wasn't just any copy of The Catcher in the Rye... it was THE copy from the story he'd told me.

Both gifts that Scare and I have received have had immense meaning behind them, and I hope this trend continues for the rest of the Passengers, I really do. It shows that immense thought goes into this, and I love that.

hahaha. Michele, I loved the letter. The mail carrier probably thought it was from your little nephew or little cousin or something for Christmas. Hahahaha. LOVE IT.

Loli- Maybe there is something hidden on the c.d? But then again, you probably tried already. How strange that it's blank. SO RANDOM.

I recieved a letter from our Rose also. I was at work when it arrived, so my wife put the letter on the table and waited until I came home. I guess she thought I was keeping an illigetimate child or something since my letter looks similar to Satims.

Being who I am... I'm compelled to hang the picture on my fridge, better known as "our family art gallery"
