 		MONTHS ago I theorized that the monster was an ALIEN that was encapsulated in a POD that was filled with the DEEP SEA INGREDIENT. Aliens sent the POD to EARTH eons ago because the CREATURE was UNCONTROLLABLE. The DEEP SEA INGREDIENT was intended to SEDATE the monster for eternity until someone DRILLED A HOLE in the POD and used the SEDATIVE for HUMAN CONSUMPTION. The MONSTER wakes up because it is not longer sedated, IT follows the tanker containing the SEDATIVE/DEEP SEA INGREDIENT while it is inroute to NEW YORK HARBOR and throws a HUGE TANTRUM because IDIOT HUMANS woke him from his eternal slumber.

 		Hey- the first thing that came to my head when reading pseunmoisuf was "Misue of -" I compared on a peice of paper, and the word that was last was....

Misuse Of Pun.

lol, Anyway, did anyone consider Japanese phonetics, since it's all Japanese... that would make sense.

 		Ganu Yoshida seems to be this kind of grandstanding guy who wants everything and more importantly, wants to be KNOWN for everything. Space exploration.. popular beverages.. oil.. goddamned WAX.

Yoshida wants everything. Chuai station wasn't meant for oil. It was meant for something else. This much is 100% true. With these clues we can start to theorize about why he might've wanted to set up shop at the mid-atlantic ridge. Biochemistry? Experimentation on carbon-based life forms? Maybe he FOUND something. We know from Teddy that they either FOUND or are MAKING something.

So Chuai station is where the Grumpypants was found/created...

Again it goes back to the extremophiles thing. The Mid-Atlantic Ridge has lots of volcanic activity. Some species of Extremophile can be found inside volcanic vents.

Which is why I think they're running all these experiments on Grumps because Ganu wants to know everything about it and all it's uses before anyone else finds out.

 		Is it possible they were trying to experiment with extremophiles to look for DNA structures they could add to..say.. the Seabed Nectar (not necessarily) as a preservative?

We see it all the time these days. Fish DNA in apples to make them look healthier for longer, and other things..

I'm starting to like this whole extremophile theory more and more.

It's certainly possible. The practical uses of invincible genes must look very pretty in the eyes of a man (Yoshida) that wants everything... and we all know that invincible genes make invincible monsters...
