[SPEC][PUZZLE]Solving the TIDOWave Survival Kit Puzzle help solve it The [SPEC] is, that the posting by Randy on the TIDOwave page contains a secret code or a way to get the number to his green mobile or leads to another way to get in contact with him. Or leads to a new page.
Here are some arrays:
The rearranged alphabetically version makes sense to me for two reasons:
(i) it explains the warm towel in " ".
(ii) the underlined Swiss Army Knife makes sense as ending line.
The rearranged by lenght of lines version makes sense because:
(i) it explains the " " as a way to lengthen the number of signs/letters in the first line
(Puzzle style A):
There are alot more ways to rearrange the lines and with each you get a new order of numbers (the number in front of the lines).
For example you could think that after the Tagruato Hack, were the numbers gave an order to the letters, now the letters are giving a way to arrange the numbers.
(Puzzle style B):
The rearrangement of the array leads to a word.
(Puzzle style C):
It is also possible, that somewhere is a code of numbers (edit: a key ) hidden, which is giving the way how to arrange the seven lines. But i dont know where such a code could be.

I still thing its a cipher code, somehow.
This all seem to be missing something: a key. We're basing a lot of this specualtion on nothing. If we can use a key word to decode, we might get somewhere.

Might as well add the span tag for "Swiss Army Knife":
Code:
...span style="border-bottom: 1px dashed #0066cc; cursor: pointer" class="yshortcuts" id="lw_1197335963_1"...
(This forum is removing my opening and closing brackets)

I just got done watching the "LOST Season 4 trailer" And as is Spec'd in there the number 6 flashes up as does a bunch of "dried fruit" - Now this is probably way too forward thinking but... I kind of (in jest) came up w/ the following.
Warm Towel - I'm actually still stuck here.
Dried Fruit - A pile of "dried" lemons [flashed] up in the LOST Trailer.
Small Comb - Sawyer carries one of these around with him, or did at least.
Jerky - This is on the Island I do believe and Sawyer made a quip to it once or twice.
Flare Gun - Has been used for "help" but gotten the group in trouble on at least two occasions.
Swiss Army Knife - Locke has one of these.
Compass - That weird - whacked out Compass they [Locke mainly?] carry around on the Island.
/shrug. As I said it was in jest but it kind of made sense LOL

Or, it doesn't mean anything and 'array' is a perfectly simple typo.
I seriously think we have to wait until the 14th to figure this out.

Kind of reminds me of that "Agent" w/e's bellybutton in Robby's cartoon story blog thing lol.
But yeah I went six, six times with the words/phrases "Tip for the field", "Survival Kit", "Warm Towel" and "Swiss Army Knife" and got
Revioa
Anagramed it and got the following.
A Vireo
Via Roe
Via Ore
Oar Vie
Ova Ire
A Vie Or
A Over I
A Rove I
Ova Re I

Maybe "Warm Towel" is meant to be the key. Hence the quotation marks on it.

Top Table: Words in blue outside of the array, but lined up just to see if they help complete it. Didn't look like it to me.
Middle Table: Highlighted yellow letters in columns that correspond with same letters in same columns for swiss army knife. Then in yellow again, the row numbers of those letters accross the bottom. In green, those letters in swiss army knife that don't match up with any in the other rows, and their row number (6) in green also.
Bottom Table: Highlighted in yellow all the letters in the array that are in swiss army knife to see if the yellow letters spelled something, or the unyellow letters left spelled something.
