Well, looks like I'm in the minority on the music. I actually like it. Also, was the point on the head of the Statue of Liberty bent in previous spots?

I was wondering how Hud got the high shot of the Jets, there was speculation that it was taken from the helicopter.
Coming that close, the fighter's jet wash would probably knock the chopper out of the sky.

The music is for the non-hardcore, everyday person.
It draws them into the scenes.
They're marketing to the masses now, not just to the geek ARG'ers.
I hate to break this to you, but the movie is for everyone, not just us.

Statue of LIberty head more damaged yes Yes the "spike" or "spire" appeared badly put in ( CGI wise ) as well as bent. Amusing, as noted it's different in every version.
RE: CLICHE MARKETING
I'm starting to get the impression that the "no name" teaser negotiation went like this
Quote:
Alright, fine. We'll let you release a teaser with no movie name, nor direct website name ... however, one month before release you have to have "standard ads," I'll tell the pukey-sounding voice-over guy to warm up.

By George, I think he's got it!

Seems odd to promote one movie with a different movie's soundtrack, but they do sound like a match.
I went back and noticed that Jamie lists Sunshine as one of her fave movies on her Myspace page.

I think that frame is in the official trailer, near the expanding scene.

This artifact caught my attention since the official trailer release, I'm not sure about the colors since I'm colorblind, but I imagine it is an 'unnatural' color. It reminded me when War of the Worlds was released, coz Steve Spielberg told he used some different colors on the tripods lights, to make them feel more 'out of this world'. I'm not sure this is the case, but it is odd anyways.
