 		HOLY CRAP! A new poster! Wow thats so much different than the first! Considering that they spent so much work rewriting Cloverfield in a new place!

This guy isn't trolling, Kraker. You're going overboard now, calling this guy a troll. He's simply a n00b who made a very big mistake, that's all. Besides, he does have some points -

1. They're not left alone. The helicopter scene suggests they make an attempt to escape with the army and others.
They may attempt to escape with the army, but production stills show that Rob and Lilly (or Beth, I can't remember which) survive what looks suspiciously like a helicopter crash, and we have production stills of them two alone inside a wood-panel house, holding off monsters and Rob speaking that "My name is Robert Hawkins" thing into the camera. Now, when these happen, we are unsure. Whether they are actually 'rescued' by the army or not at the very end, we don't know. All we have is speculation. And right now, the evidence points at left behind, but not through any fault of the military, and not without trying to be rescued. So, in essence, both you and Slushohappy are right and wrong.

Wow, cynical much? It is a new poster, isn't it, Kraker? Can you deny THAT fact? It may be an utterly crap poster (I didn't realise the graphic designers in Hollywood were striking as well), but it is new, and this new guy thought he would post it, but didn't go through the proper channels of search.

That is all. Kraker, stop biting this guy's face off for a small, stupid mistake. Slushohappy, don't do it again.

I'm so sorry your majesty. He's only been trolling the forums most of his time here and when I call him a troll in a topic that appears to be "serious", I'm in the wrong.

I suppose troll was the wrong word. The correct one is "idiot". Fine, have it that way.

Ouch. To be honest, I've never seen this guy before, so if he is a ridiculous troll, my bad, and I'll accept that. And I'm not saying just you are in the wrong, I'm saying you're BOTH in the wrong. Now please, stop putting words in my mouth and stop acting like a bloody victimised schoolkid. I don't care if you have ten posts or five-hundred posts, that doesn't make what you're saying somehow tolerable. Ex-bloody-actly! It's called SPECULATION, Kraker, and these boards are full of them. I bet even you have engaged in some old speculation now and again. It's the only way we can get out theories and debunk/prove them. We're assuming, and given the evidence of the production stills, I'll say this n00b/troll/whatever the hell he is has some basis for his argument.

WHAT? It has a bridge, the writing's in a new place. Nobody's denying it's absolute shit, we've seen imost of it before and it's barely worth mentioning, but NEW is NEW. The definition for NEW on dictionary.com that best fits this case is "being the later or latest of two or more things of the same kind". This kid thought it was a new poster (once again, if he is a troll, my bad, but I haven't been following his antics, and this is the first I've seen of him) and decided to add it to the thread. Arguing that it's extended because "there's a bridge there that wasn't there before" - WTF? It's new, Kraker. It may be crap, but it's new.

Now, can we all cut this crap and act like civilised human beings here? Slushohappy, Kraker? Please? I'm getting tired of this.

Ah. Thank you. I just realised the two scenes are probably separate. If so, the wood-panel house one probably has nothing to do with the end, though I'm surprised that Beth isn't helping them close the door.

 		Anyone who says they arent ever left alone hasnt read the interview with Micheal Stahl-David from MTV. In it he says there are parts of the movie where they are stuck BY THEMSELVES and cant get anywhere. Make sure you read all the available literature before you so adamantly tell someone theyre wrong, otherwise you just come off looking like a total ass. One other thing, certain people on here need to lay off others when they bring up something already said or something that is wrong. Everyone at one time or another has been a noob or been somewhat wrong about information they had. When you act like that you just come off as a boorish asshole. You arent better than anyone else just cause you think you know what youre talking about and they dont. CHILL OUT EVERYONE, and you all know who im talking about

I think this is like the story of the boy who cried wolf. Our friend 1-18-08 SLUSHOMAKESUHAPPY here has had some questionable posts in the past, most notably his first few:

He claimed to have been personally sent here by JJ Abrams to give out clues in his first post,

He bad mouthed someone else's theory,

and he had a source that Cloverfield was a cover up for another film or something.

Now he finally tried to post something he thought was helpful (without a lie if you will), all be it in the wrong location, and he gets blasted.

Can you see where everyone is coming from 1-18-08 SLUSHOMAKESUHAPPY? If you wanna contribute then be helpful and do it in the correct place. We all have theories and opinions but we do not annoy people with them and the expect people to take us seriously.



The rest of you who are trying to have fun with this, don't get sucked into his posts anymore if you think he is a Troll and we will not end up with pointless threads and waisted time. Whatever you say is not going to make him go away. Your just fueling the fire.

I appreciate that, but think you missed my point. My beef isnt with what Slusho makes you happy said, but those that are gonna berate him for having a different opinion. If you dont agree, then fine. Im just tired of people acting like theyre better than others just cause they have a different opinion. Noone is going to know for sure whos right or wrong until 1-18-08 . Until then, lets all have fun with this and if someone elses opinion or the fact they didnt use search properly ( and we all know who im referring to here, always bitching about the search function) bothers you, then youre taking this way too seriously and you need to get a life. Walk away from the computer. Once again though, thank you for your support. At least one person agrees with me LOL Wink

P.S. Come January 18th well probably find out were all wrong in some way or another. JJ is probably messing with us in so many of the things we think we know

 		All right. Go ahead and jump on me - I spent a month on IMDB making fun of the demon-hair-girl thing - but in the 'new' poster in the second post, if you look up two inches above the newly spotted bridge, there's a mirror effect in the clouds that looks vaguely insectoid-Cthulhuesque.

(I am NOT saying it's Cthulhu!)
