I'm pretty sure it's fake. That or whoever wrote it is a 5 year old. Or both. Most likely both.

Yeah.

I'll highlight where it's not professional.

We are looking for reps to participate in a very cool TWO-WEEK promotion of a much anticipated thriller!

That's informal. Not professional.
Quote:

The main responsibilities will include hand-to-hand distribution of promotional merch at various high traffic areas with a heavy emphasis on movie theaters, retail stores and outdoor holiday festitivies (where applicable). Creativity is strongly encouraged on this promotion.

Hand this stuff out, but be creative.

This is considered part-time/temporary work classified as an independent contractor, not an employee.

Repeated twice.
Quote:

*Please be at least 21 years of age.
*Please be familiar with local malls and cineplexes.

Yeah, who the hell says "please meet these requirements". To hell with that, if you're serious you say "must be at least...etc."

Quote:
TO APPLY:
Please be sure to place "NYC MONSTER" in the subject line, otherwise our spam guard will eat it.

Give me a fucking break.

Provide a resume or work history.

You're not even an "employee". A resume to hand out fliers for a few weeks???

Happy now.
