Here's how high off the ground the thing we see is, it's possible we see nothing but an arm.

see, that's how i've always seen it ^^^^.

I mean, yeah it is a possibility that there are more than just your regular four apendages [2 legs, 2 arms], Or it just has some powerful front legs [like the monster in "The Host"] but i'm saying that if it only has the regular 4, then it just seems like there should be more movement if those are legs. I know it doesn't move too fast, but I doubt its legs were in slow-motion while the rest of the body lumbered by.

p.s.
I want it to have tentacles too... anywhere... Kinda like the monster I drew for the "what's your cloverfield monster" or something like that thread.

That little part that everyone thinks is a piece of his head, i always looked at it as if it were a piece of his back....just shaded a different color, like a a spot or piece of shell or something.

a friend of mine thinks the monster will be able to fly, haha.

so that little piece, whatever it is could be a folded up pair of wings or anything. im hoping that its a shoulder, and it walks kinda like a gorilla...
