Are we missing something Ok OK, I know i am not excercising my "patience", but I am
wondering if we are missing something that has to be done to
start the game.
I am playing around with the terminal page. Maybe those #'s
mean something else as well as patience.
Can anyone else think of any loose ends blowing around in the
breeze that we have not tied up?

I think "impatient" better describes my mood...

ditto....ho hum. Maybe we should email the acheron admin???
I'm kinda curious why the nru website would make a big deal about student orientations on Sep 2nd or tours of the new physics centre on Sep 1st and then have nothing happen...and emails to anyone on that website come back. Strange.
Maybe the PM can give us a hint as to when this case will get cracking.
UPDATE: Nope, the curtain is closed...that's all they can tell me. Oh, well...let's wait and see!

Hmmm... I've emailed NRU, sent them a web form, and sent mail to adminSPLAT acheron.us in the past couple of days and not gotten a bounce yet. Of course, I haven't gotten any replies either.

While patience is one of the most difficult virtues to deal with, forcing the issue won't help matters any. As far as I can remember, every ARG I've been involved with has had a definitive 'launch moment' -- Ganmed going live, the email from Dale, the nude picture of SpaceBass. Right now, the general feeling I get from the latest interactions/puzzle from the Ash-er-on crew is that the launch will be less-than-subtle, and that we should wait for it.
Only my humble opinion, of course. Would you expect anything else?

While I can't divulge the name of the game (it was a private affair, as far as I can remember), I have eight words for you:
Look at the size of that f'n mop!

Jamesi, you are correct...it's all in their hands at this point. I'm just a brat, and I'm sick so I'm grumpy...LOL.
Yeah, I'm suppose when they actually launch the game, we'll know...via email or phone or something...I've never really played an ARG yet so I just don't know what to expect, so I'll go by you 'vets'.
Thanks for the 2 cents, appreciate it!

Reggie is the key SPEC Okay, I can't find Jamesi's post referring to the message in the sourcecode of the acheron registration page, but please feel free to move this comment to whereever it is jamesi....I was thinking, if Reggie is the key and he's busy playing that hexic game...when I did a search for Hexic (i've never heard of it before), it came up on MSN games zone (or whatever it's called)...perhaps Reggie has a profile on that games zone (there are a million reggies, none of them particularly stood out except Reggieaz (Arizona??) but it had no profile.
Maybe we will 'meet' reggie there and that's how the game will start?
Does anyone know what the reference to the three black pearls is? Is that part of the hexic game?

imbri, if you beat hexic i will give you a cookie!
I just played for the last 40 minutes and could only
get 5 stars, NO black pearls.
You must be a tetris master!
I bet my girl could beat hexic, she once
got 1200+ lines in tetris!
I wonder if it is a clue, maybe the endgame for
hexic gives us "the key"?
