 		It boggles my mind that Paramount isn't making the commercials available on their website.
For a movie that's supposed to be all about viral marketing, they're seriously dropping the ball on this.

I don't think this is alien. Everything else we are getting suggests that the monster is a deep sea creature that has been there for some time.
but it could be an alien that crash landed somehow and they find it through deep sea drilling.
