[oog] people hate Americans because of attitudes like that. We don't control the world, We're constantly being kept in check by other powerful governments/countries- and even less powerful factions [9/11].

We thought we were golden, that no one could touch us- then look what happens. Now, our media and government keeps us in fear, we're wasting money on a damn wall surrounding the border, when we should be spending on those that have hit rock bottom. We ignore the fact that there is a HUGE percentage of veterns that must live on the streets. Our president takes vacations while he sends soldiers to their deaths. If you consider that powerful, then you can keep that power. Power is what you get when you're united, not just with one country, but with all. We're gaining enemies daily, and if the system doesn't change soon- this country will eat itself from the inside out.

Speaking American?

How can a college graduate seriously ask "Do you speak American?"
Perhaps she is nervous and gropes for a word...

Doesn't the fact that her character has elicited such an emotional response, not just in this thread but elsewhere around the forum too, pretty much negate the argument that she is a bad actor?

No, it doesn't. If she had kept picking her nose and eating it during the videos it would have elicited quite a response but it wouldn't make her acting any better. I will give her a break and say the dialog is absolutely atrocious so it's not all her fault but she is still pretty bad. She has no physical acting abilities. Video 5 is a perfect example, there is nothing natural about the way she opens the box or handles what's inside. On top of it she keeps stopping when she remembers a line she ran past.

But the reaction has been based on her acting, not her nose picking. People find her stupid (which is the character not the actor), and ridiculous. As for the box, you have obviously never received an unwanted gift from a (ex) significant other. I have, I threw it across the room too. Anyway, I don't hate the character or the actor, others are free to.

This adds to my theory that she slept her way to a degree.

The reaction is based on the information she delivers and it's significance to the ARG, she might as well have been reading it.. There are as large or larger reactions for the pictures, memos, etc.
It wasn't throwing the box I was talking about it was the opening, etc.
The whole bit with the scissors is awful. She stops at least twice to mumble the lines she ran past. She is obviously supposed to be angry and frustrated so fumbles with the box but can't pull that off and say her lines. So she does the physical acting, badly, stops, says her line, repeat.

Maybe it isn't her fault. Maybe the director wanted it to be spontaneous and real and so just did one take with minimal rehearsal. Maybe they are cheap. But if that's they case they failed. It looks cheap and sloppy.

Personally,I think she embodies everything I hate about "girls like her". She's obviously hiding alot more than just a curly haired person in the bed and some UTIs.

She's confused and angry because she thinks he boyfriend broke up with her in this insane way and she obviously doesn't care enough to try to search further than calling a number. She calls him a liar and a prick because she doesn't know anything else other than to lash out with words.

She should just be patient. She'll be dead soon enough. I hope she goes first.

(Edited for grammar)
