the 5 posts above the one above me (the crap ones) are why i hate this forum. really, is it worth the post count? i spend too much time having to skim through the crap, i tend to miss the actual informative posts. pm people. or go somewhere else. there's about 5% actual information here. i'm going to cloverfield clues. this many pages and just now there's images?

JookNy21 thanks. I vaguely remembered the name of the subway since I'm not familiar with New York at all.

(We were looking at the same map too! Thanks again for showing that particular area on it though.)

I know it doesn't seem like much new info came of this teaser but...if they show a map...instincts tell me to at least take it into account. I'll wait until a still picture of the scene comes out to see if anybody else might see something interesting in it.

I've been curious about the subway route they travel through ever since it was mentioned that something big happens there. (An earlier interview if my memory serves correctly.) I'd really like to see what that area looks like and any other useful information about it. That might give others a better a idea of the environement and circumstances that may surround that supposed big event in the movie.

Since it looks like the tanker belongs to Tagruato, what's the odds that T.I.D.O.wave's "Event" has to do with it capsizing? They are kind of threatening violence in their publications.

Perhpas T.I.D.O. wave inadvertantly releases a the beastie?

I was walking through the TV room in my house today and noticed a Cloverfield commercial. I didn't see all of it and there was a lot of background noise at the house so I couldn't hear a lot of it either. I remember somebody pointing at a map saying "we can die here, or die here, or here." Something like that. I think it was Rob. I saw the exploding girl scene and there was a brief shot of the tanker near the end.

Wow, that burning tanker is interesting, it's leaning to the opposite side of the one in the news report, could have been after it's thrown, is the statue headless too?
Seems likely that the headless statue flypast in the first trailer is from news footage, rather than Hud directly.
