Anyway, his friends gave him a surprise party...thinking he got the job no problems? He may have just "flown in" from the interview, walked into the apt....annoyed and the people at the party still in the mindset he got said job...yelled Surprise.

That doesn't really make sense. He gets the job and has to come back a day later?
Besides in the clips Hud jokes how he should have left a day earlier to miss everything when they are on the roof. So, Hud is sure he is leaving the next day long after the party has started.

You also have Jamie singing the pic for him to spread her hotness long after the party has started so she still thinks he is going.

Rob's attitude at the party is due to his realization that he really doesn't want to leave Beth and Beth doesn't want him to either IMHO. Maybe Rob and Beth actually get into a fight over it at the party and she leaves.

Yeah but it's a pretty good one. He states on his blog how he has started a job hunt and now he has an interview. 3 weeks later he is moving to Japan.
It's not a big stretch. It sure isn't just a vacation.

I suppose he could have hit Lotto or inherited a bunch of cash and said "Wow! Now I can move to Japan!" Rolling Eyes

I don't see what the problem is with that suggestion, not sure why you're using the rolly eyes emote.

Actually that would make the "Rob owes me $11" quote pretty funny.

I'm just pointing out that we don't know why he's moving to Japan yet and people are talking like it's a sure thing that he gets a job with Tagruato.

MSD: He's got a job offer, and really what it means is that he's finally got the opportunity to do something with himself. And he hasn't really been an overachiever in his life, not as far along as people would have thought that he would have gone at this point. So, he's making a choice between trying to figure out…staying with a girl that he's always kind of been in love with but never really acted on until recently and being a responsible adult, and taking this job. And he takes the job, which is kind of the safer choice.

 		Its probaly not ture but maybe Rob is supposed to be leaving because Tagruato wants him out of there. Kind of like what happened in Resident Evil II where all of the umbrella corporations employees were shipped out of the city after the first word of a possible outbreak. Maybe Rob knew some stuff and he was vital to one of their projects so he had to leave that day. IDK just a thought.

 		Thanks and also that might explain why he has the expression on his face after the on the roof explosion scene. He seems like he knows something that the others don't.

To me, Marlena looks spooked, and Rob looks spooked.
To others, Marlena looks sick, and Rob looks guilty.

 		Yeah everyone has their own opinions. But Marlena really looks more to the slighlty queasy side and not sppoked and Rob isn't spooked he is scared because maybe he knows something bad is about to happen.
