To me when the cameraguy says to Rob..."guess you shoulda left a day early.." or something to that effect, Rob looks completely preoccupied, almost distractedly thinking about what's going on around him, thus giving me a bit more proof that the company he interviewed with told him to get the hell out of NYC pronto. He knows something is up, probably not what that something is exactly. Marlena looks to me like she's trying to avoid the camera at the party when she walks in front of it. Shy? hardly...Sick? maybe...still can't decide but definitely avoiding the camera.

Camera Confessions Work in "The Real World" on MTV The only thing that makes me question the logic behind Rob knowing something is going on, is what he says into the camera during the trailer. He says something along the lines of "If you see this, you know just as much as I do" So if he knew who or what is behind this *cough tagruato cough* then he would feel it necessary to divulge this information to the survivors...no?

Maybe the reason Rob seems preoccupied is that he gets the job with Tagruato, tells Jamie, who says something like tell the prick hello, since they have him trapped and gets pissed about it and leaves the party. Leaving Rob to wonder if it was true and what he's gotten himself into.

I don't think rob is a big enough douchebag to know that a monster is going to destroy the city and, at the least, tell his brother about it. Maybe he heard SOMETHING big is going to happen, or that the company was shipping him to japan on a business-related trip, or something of that matter...but i don't see him knowing that this is going to happen and not mention anything to at least some of his friends (his bro at the least).

[SPEC] or, teddy could be rob's brother, and it's possible that he told rob he was in trouble. The reason he didn't tell Hawk would be the age difference; he's closer to Ro'bs age, they're probably closer friends. Also, Rob is more of an insightful thinker - and he's into writing. Just the kind of person to expose Tag. Remeber the password - 'jllovesth . The whole reason he's going to Japan might be because Teddy's in trouble.
