Just found someone in the comments of the pic saying Jamie emailed Lostpedia and said the logo was pasted on. So I guess we're not getting Rachel back *sigh*

notpr0n was not simple :p A game like this isn't exactly completely involving-sleepless nights-searching for clues, is it :p

And I am back for this! To annoy my friends with my lack of watching Lost, but more knowledge than them! (My friend only just let me tell her what happened in The Lost Experience, I'm trying to talk her into letting me tell her what happens in this one!)

True, notpron isn't a simple game. That's why she should start with http://think.axieblast.com/ first, then move onto something harder like notpron before she does an ARG. If she doesn't get concepts like "always look in the source code first", then she will be lost in any ARG that she plays. There are other lessons that these timewasters can teach her, like how URLs may be changed due to clues, ect. I just think it's a good idea if a newbie to ARGs attempts to play those first, thats all.

And this is getting really off topic...

 		I don't think anyone needs to start anywhere. The beauty of having a community like ours is that she can simply watch and learn. In fact, given how simple Lost815 has been so far (nothing too terribly hidden thus far), I'd even say it might be too basic of a first experience.

Really off topic for this thread, perhaps it will get split out into the Meta section by a mod.

But seriously? Totally different skill sets and interests! Timewasters have nothing to prepare you for a good story-ARG. If you mistake an ARG for a puzzle trail, you've missed some great alternate play and immersion. Reading and speculation about character motivations and plot points are skills better served by being in a book club or good television discussion forum. The genre has been diluted by viral competitions and scavenger hunt style "extended experiences". People enjoy "chaotic fiction" all the time without ever solving puzzles built in the old HTML trail format. And to send someone off on a lonely timewaster path may turn them off the idea of joining in on ARG, if that's their only data point.

 		There is a new email in the outbox on Find815.

Thought it said there would only be updates Monday-Friday...? Oh well, I'm not complaining.

Edit: Strange, even after I click on the new email, it still says I have one unread. I know there are no more new emails. Anyone else notice this?

Aye, I thought it was too easy. It was semi hard to find the 3rd and 4th clue, but other then that it was too easy. I want some mystery!

Also, whats the "activity" portion? I must not have found that... cause it shows incompleted.

I also found TWO phone numbers total...One asks for the voicemail number and then for the password..

 		Indeed there is a new mail, but it was rolled out too soon and it's glitchy. This ARG is being pushed too fast... why?

there's a few reasons that i can think of.

1. They have alot of content, and are worryed that they may not have enough time by the time lost season 4 starts
2. They want to keep us interested by releasing emails.
3. They're completely incompetent and have no clue how to do this game properly. It could be that they consider The Lost Experience to be a failure, so they remade this ARG to attract a larger audience.

pick your poison. whatever the reason is, it's odd.
