 Stuck Isis

Hey guys,

First, thanks for putting this thread together. If I never looked on here, I would have never known that you have to bang the crap out of the Isis to release the third ball.

That said, I need som guidance. I got through the maze and now my Isis is stuck after turning only about 0.5 cm. I can hear a BB moving around inside. I saw someone earlier had the same problem, but I didn't see how they were able to get past this/or go back to start. Any help would be great.

stuck isis

Try turning it back to having the placentas lined up, then start over from getting the third bb in the centre of the maze. If that doesn't help, there is anothe isis thread on here that might have the answer but beware it is about 70 pages long.

Good luck

Thanks for putting this up Cyberus, and also for MeCon's advice.

My Isis is second hand, so I couldn't register it (previous unknown owner registered it). This means not being able to access Sonic Warps page to find out how to put it back together again, so cyberus putting this up helped.

Also, when I got through the clues, the puzzle got stuck with the placentas opposite each other, so without MeCon's advice, it would have stayed that way.

People who complain about this being up, have their right to do so. But for people like me who can't afford to buy (or be given) one of these at full price, the information is invaluable, especially after spending time to decrypt the clues, and actually get to almost completing the puzzle to have a problem occur.... very infuriating...

Thanks again guys

Isis puzzle

hey cyberus that picture of the gold isis is awesome. i was wondering

where i could get one like that. (i prefer gold over siver). But i can only

find siver. And i like the gold rings, so i can take the middle one out and

give it to someone. you can email me at magicancoreySPLATyahoo.com .

Your instructions are very specific, i love it.

(under $80 usd would be best, but if the all gold one is over $80, it's ok)
(if there isn't one that's all gold, an Isis under $80 would be just as good)

The SPLAT is "at "

Thanks

Sorry mate, I have to blame my crappy digital camera for that picture. My Isis is actually silver and gun-metal, just like the rest. Although I do remember SonicWarp offering special edition Isis' in various colors, and one or more of them had gold rings and/or a gold sphere. However, they were a bit more expensive than the regular Isis. I'd reccomend you try Ebay.

Hope this helps.

these statements in no way reflect the views of the isis adventure forum, its members or Sonic Warp and/or its subsiduaries

Steve, why don't you just leave if you disagree with us?
Instead of trolling this forum, you could advance on your Isis - or participate in ARGs. That way you could gain some positive reputation, don't you think?

isis puzzle
Got stuck somewhere

So i got this isis, and i have solved the clues and when i tried to open it i turned it and it got stuck with the placentas a few cm apart right. like others have said. so i smacked it a few times for the hell of it and turned it yesterday were the two halves started to sperate. but then it keeps locking. now in the clues it says turn clockwise to unopen but reading some of these post people say u got to turn both ways? and someone said that u should hold down the plunger, turn it upside down till u dont hear anything. then turn it back and while still holding the plunger down unscrew it? idk guys. i know it ain broken but what is the best way to open my isis from my point that im at. smack it. or plunger it.

OK, you DO NOT have to turn it both ways. If you are looking at the top of it, turn it clockwise.

Yes that is the correct procedure.

isis might be broken or im an idiot.
i think i broke it. ooops.

yeah so i opened it like ten times. but the last time i was putting it back together the plate loked while i was screing it back on. its like about a quater of the way scred on. the two placentas are alligend. i tried doing the motions to unlcok it but it wont work. for some reason the third ball bearing wont come down into the hole. maybe i put the maze in backwards? but i dont think i did. i can hear the two rolling around. the plunger works. but i cant get that ball in the dam maze. what should i do. i dont want to send it in. any way i can fix it. or am i just an idiot and cant solve my isis agin?

other method

If its stuck out of line and you cant get the third ball bearing into your maze then there is a way to open it without using it. This might be how you have to re open it, check its back together correct and start to re assemble it again.

If you type "Bypassing the magnet on your Isis Puzzle" into youtube you can see a video, although i had to do this on mine and had to repeat the process every half turn, so its not as easy as the video makes out.

pm me if you need any more help.
