They make the riddles the hardest part of the whole adventure. Mine is:

This PK setup a famous team link, that which has never been found on Palm Beach since.

clues

I wish they wouldn't make these riddles so easy Rolling Eyes Not only that, when you find the pyramid and hazard a guess, you have to hang around for a few hours while the place try to contact sonicwarp to see if it's corect Evil or Very Mad

I think I know what that's in reference to. But it wouldn't be the best riddle I ever saw.

Or, maybe I'm wrong.

 Careful when resetting
Broken at 180

I've opened and reset my Isis about 30 times since i got it less than 48 hours ago. It just never looses its spark. Unfortunatly this last time i reset it i was screwing the two halves together and ::click:: a half turn from being closed and now it seems my Isis is permanently locked in the "mostly closed" position. Is there any way you know of solving this problem? Theres no maze to run because BB3 and the begining of the maze are 2.5" apart... Sad

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
For your help, I also have a hint. with the plecentas facing you, plunger up, BB3 released, do the following. slightly rotate the Isis towards you so that the upper movable ring is almost on top. Rotate the Isis in a CCW neutating motion for 1 and 3/8 turns. The placentas should always face you. Next Neutate the Isis CW 1 and 3/8 of a turn. this should put you at the starting point. Neutate the Isis in the CCW direction again (about 3/8 of a turn). If you listen carefully you can hear BB3 reach the end of the maze. Instead of "swirling" the Isis, you're actually "Navigating" through the maze. Good luck.

PS. This assumes that the magnet is aligned with the placentas.

PPS. I have a video of me performing this. If i ever figure out how to get it on a computer i'll send it your way. i dont think we need to post the video, but maybe you can explain it better than I can.

I just put an item on the TimeWasters forum the other day to resolve this one. Check it out. I had the same problem. The title is "Repairing the ISIS Puzzle if you error during the RESET ". Good Luck.

Repairing the ISIS Puzzle if you error during RESET

I decided to place the article here on resetting too, so it would not get lost in the other index with other topics.

Repairing the ISIS Puzzle if you error during the RESET
How to repair the ISIS
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OKAY, you've solved the ISIS puzzle and got your key and/or the code number inside. Your ego is boosted and you feel wonderful. That's great. Now there is another challenge to the puzzle. Resetting the puzzle so you can play it again or have your friends try to solve it.

There is a potential for locking the ISIS to make it "next to impossible to open again". And you don't want to spend money to send it to the factory for opening and resetting. Right? Correct. Here's the deal. I locked mine when resetting and figured out how to reopen without the third ball dropping from the magnet. It is brutal and hard on the hands, but I did it and don't care to do it again. More on that later. A solution for the problem too.

When resetting, you take the ball and drop it into the hole for the magnet to grab. Then you reset the other half's lock and gently put the ISIS back together making sure the holes line up. Then you gently turn the two halves to close it tight. Problem here. After you've opened this gem many times, the locking mechanism gets worn and will release and lock with the sllightest bump or vibration. If the holes line up and you've had an even 360 degree turn, all is well, just solve the puzzle as normal. BUT IF YOU DON'T get that 360 degree turn and it locks up at the 180 degree mark, then you're in trouble. Big trouble. the holes don't line up and the third ball will never drop into the maze so it can get to the center and act as an extension to the press down stem on the plunger. So now what do you do? You think you're screwed blue and tattooed. Wrong.

The solution is to open it without the plunger. Much more difficult than the normal way to open it. This is a delicate feat of force and turn at the exact moment. I'll describe.

Hold the ISIS upside down (plunger down). Forget the plunger now, it's useless. Swirl the ISIS to lock the two other balls in place in the now upper half. You don't hear them rolling. Now the trick. Take the ISIS in your right hand and in an upward motion, beat it against your left hand in a fast upward motion, so that the stopping inertia will compress the lock on the spring and then at the right nanosecond turn the ISIS halves to start to open it. Just get it to turn. Don't try to open it yet.

Now take the halves and rotate the remaining same direction to the 180 degree turn. This will line up the holes. Now you can resolve the puzzle in the normal method by smack, swirl and depressing the plunger.

Now remember I said "next to impossible". You did it. Now the trick to never get in this predicament again, is never reset the ISIS by dropping the ball in the magnet hole. Drop the third ball in the center hole of the maze and then screw it back together. If it locks up now, then the third ball is already there to reopen easily. After you get the puzzle halve fully turned together, just reverse swirl it a few times and the ball will find the magnet and pop up in the magnet hole/cavity.

Good Luck with this everyone. It works. I did it. And you know what? I feel more satisfied than when I first solved the puzzle. It takes a long time to get the right force and turn to open it, but it can be done.

If the placentas are lined up, that means the hole for the bb magnet is lined up with the maze hole. You should be able to solve just with the normal solution. The other method I described is for when the placentas are not lined up and the bb is stuck up in the magnet cavity..

Good Luck.

Riddle

Rogi, Is that some kind of bunker or something?

EDIT: Aha, I found it. It was JFK's bunker during the Cuban Missile Crisis. I need to do some more investigating. That for the tip Rogi. Wink

EDIT#2: Tried "President Kennedy" as the answer to the riddle but it said it was wrong, so I dont know what it could be.

Its not fair, the place that has my pyramid is going to get rid of it soon. I have only a couple of weeks to figure out my clue. Why does sonic warp have to be so unfair? Crying or Very sad
