 		Assassins Creed 2 Hidden Messages
Is anyone playing Assassins Creed 2?

In the glyphs where you solve 'the truth' puzzles, there are some hidden codes, like Morse and Caesars, all sorts - I was just wondering if anyone else here was solving them? There have been some really long binary codes and i've skipped them, not wanting to spend ages transcribing and then decoding - but I've solved a few morse and caesar codes. Anyone wanna share what they've got so far?

Also I've been writing down the 5 digit passcode numbers just incase they're needed later for something. I'll post everything I have up here when I get home to my notes Smile

The double killed in the bunker is a reference to Adolph Hitler. The basic rundown is this: Hitler was to kill his "double" in the bunker we are historically taught he committed suicide in with Eva Braun. He was then to escape with his Piece of Eden, but in a later Assassin's Creed 2 "Truth" puzzle you learn that the Assassin's were waiting for him. They killed Hitler and took the Piece of Eden. This also implys that Hitler was one of the Knights Templar, even though they planned to betray him from the very beginning.


That should make some sense to your daughter if she's still playing the game, hope she's enjoying it. There's enough weirdness and conspiracy stuff in there to blow your mind several times over.

 		Edit: I'm putting some of this in a spoiler tag because it may very well be so.

Hey, I'm a complete newbie to this forum, so if I'm doing something wrong then please excuse me.

I got overly excited when playing Assassin's Creed II because of all the hidden messages {not to mention the overall theme of the game} I follow the Truth Seekers movement and from what I've gleaned from my time learning about it I was able to recognize a lot of the symbols and references in the game.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
In my opinion the whole game is a kind of nod to the whole New World Order + Illuminanti thing. A lot of the Truth Seeking movement make reference to the Templars being hired by the ruling elite way back when and when they were 'forced underground' like in the game, they actually came together to make secret societies such as the Free Masons etc. {I don't want to annoy any Truth Seekers with my opinions, I am just stating what I have learned from some of the prominent speakers within the community}

The hidden messages are really interesting to me and tie in somewhat with the main body of the story. The video obviously, as other have stated, refers to Adam and Eve and the beginning of mankind {this also ties into the ending of the game itself, where Ezio goes to talk to the goddess type woman. She talks about the beginning of mankind also and if I remember correctly alludes to another race coming from outerspace to interact with humanity. This is also an opinion of a lot of the Truth Seekers movement; Some speculate that the human race bred with the 'alien' beings to create humans - although they were not as we know them today, they were more advanced, until some horrible disaster befell them and they lost their knowledge - this also is a theory as to why a lot of ancient civilizations seemed to be far more advanced than we are today. A lot of the original religious beliefs speak of gods/Nephilim/star creatures coming down from the sky and breeding with humans - one of the most prominent of which is in Sumerian belief, which have a lot of artefacts that bear testament to this {I also believe one of the codes in binary translates to 'Sumerian. Me 23' which I found interesting}
The whole of The Truth files puzzles features prominent figures that are mentioned in the Truth Seekers movement, some of which are only mentioned in very vague ways, but if you're familiar with what they're talking about you'd recognize it. I believe they also allude to what maybe caused the fall of ancient advanced humanity in the first place too.


All in all I thought it was a very brave move by Ubi-Soft and I admire them for that. These hidden messages are one of the reasons why, for me, Assassin's Creed II went from being a great game with interesting playability to a fantastic game that I will play over and over. {I have not yet played the first game and I am curious to see if there are any similar things hidden within that too}

It makes a sort of sense for it to be Mt. Kilimanjaro as Africa where a lot of people theorize modern humans to originate from due to some of the oldest skeletons being found there.

 		Wow, that is awesome. I started Assassin's Creed to and never finished due to... something else coming out? It was a fun game, but I lost interest due to some of the missions. I will have to check out the sequel though. This "secret message" stuff is way to tantalizing. That's the point, of course. Laughing

In the civil war photo there is a cryptogram of some sort in the top left corner and in the bottom right corner there's a cipher 65=a.
