I think it's important to note that most references to 6 actually progress to 7 in this whole viral campaign, e.g. 7 MySpace pages, "You can't drink just 6" means you have to drink 7. In Jewish numerology, 7 is the number of completion.

Another thing to keep in mind is that there are other recurring numbers used, like 1 and 8. I don't think there's a single number that can define everything they do. I think using a 6 to 7 progression for things make it easy to wrap up things in a tidy amount for them.
