Didn't the first Transformers leak turn out to be the Transmutators movie or whatever the hell that was? The same company is doing a Cloverfield rip-off called Tokyo. They could've just mislabeled it as the real Cloverfield and leaked it to get some publicity. But people here have seen it for download and the OP posted a review pertaining to the leak... weird stuff.

Checking an extension isn't always reliable. A movie could be compressed into a .rar file the same way a virus could. The best way to tell, if it has been zipped, is to run a scan on it the moment it finishes before you open it.
