Your Eyes Only? or Public Expression/Interest?
Ok, so this is gonna be half rant, half seriousness...

I don't want this movie Spoiled for me, i mean sure i like spoilers, but only if i feel right by looking for them, basically, i want to see them on my terms, not poking me in the rear with a 10ft sharpened bamboo pole.

of course, i can always skip the topics labeled as spoilers, or join the convo without reading the whole opening post, but then you'd come to posts that would have embedded pictures, those are hard to miss.

now so far, all the spoilers on here, real or fake, can be associated with the trailers and TV spots, but this is a monster flick, the only real major spoiler to a monster flick is not the story of the people, for the most part, but what the monster is and looks like

and with only about 20 days left until the movie opens, the advanced screenings, like the one with the widget, unless viewed properly, i.e no cameras or harry potter enthusiasts/wannabes, will probably be the main source of the spoilers.

i know the mods here can't do much about it, i guess its the main reason all newcomers are called "Killroy's", and a spoiler sub-forum would be ignored by most if they all turn out to be related to harry potter, they'd have their hands full moving posts, so before it begins its an almost lost cause...

i don't want it spoiled for me, of course i won't be able to see it in theaters for personal reasons, i would still like it to be spoiler free until the midnight screenings are over with, that way, even tho spoiled, i can say that it wasn't spoiled before it was released

sorry for taking up forum space, i just needed to rant and didn't wanna go off topic in another post...and if this post is a little off, i get a little confused when mad

feel free to rant here yourself if you don't like spoilers, keeps from taking up more forum space

 		The statement you are making, if I interpreted it correctly, is not unlike someone on a diet who has friends constantly offering junk food. Like, a test of will power or a lack of support in the game itself.

I kinda see where you are coming from.

 		Colt, I know what you mean. Once the film comes out there's less... 'care', when it comes to being careful with spoilers.

I'm in a worse position, the film doesn't come to the UK until at least two weeks after the US. I know I'm probably going to have to avoid here and Dennis' site like the plague.

its Retarted here at UF

and yeah, no one like to use them, its in the same category as people knowing posting a spoiler in the wrong place

and go ahead and rant here, its all welcomed, and it keeps them all to one topic instead of many threads of em

and yeah, i feel for the UK guys, you all will have the toughest time
