 		Looks like I was late, happy new year everyone!

Seems I was right about the tanker being filmed from brooklyn bridge, to the right of the statue.

Marlena is really piling on the pounds in this clip, I'll try to get some stills.



I'm wondering if the effects have been redone actually, looks a bit different to the trailer.

It looks as though the expanding has been moved from the upper abdomen, to the lower abdomen.

 		You guys it's quite likely the effects have changed. The explosion in the trailer changed several times. So did the roar. They keep redoin things. But does it really matter in the end?

Just pointing out what I saw.


I beg to disagree that understanding the trailers and getting hints from them can help us to understand the plot and the ARG a lot better in some cases, for example the confirmation of the tagruato tanker, the scratch marks on the SOL's head, or the fact that we know it's infectious (we have a bite!).

The difference between a scientist cutting a woman in the upper and lower body in essence doesn't help us at all in any aspect, and can therefore be concluded irrelevant.

 		I'm also glad that they fixed the explosion shot again... When they re-did the original explosion, they made it look too professional. but they've made it so it doesn't look so brilliant, like it was recorded with a regular handycam.

 		I really would like to get a proper HD copy of this to compare to the HD footage in the trailers. When I look at the screenshots compared, looks like they just included some later frames. They may have noted everyone arguing that it was just a 'sweater blowing open' and added a few more frames. As to 'inflating a hazmat suit', they don't inflate those - and how or why would you do such a thing with an exposed head and hair flailing about?
If you look at the right hand MOPP suited person, they are bent over more in a position that's a perfectly natural progression from the previous shots we've seen.

And wtf is with this 'cutting' comment? The guy is either reaching for something, or punching at it.

While I agree that the trailers and such can provide clues about the film, none of them are set in stone. For instance, a bite doesn't confirm an infectious agent, it just confirms that someone was bitten and it was a serious injury. (If someone was bitten by a dinosaur (whether it was infectious or not) people would be prone to react. Just a thought, some of the trailer may not even be in the final cut of the movie.

Also, those aren't MOPP suits, but that's nitpicking.

I gotta be honest... that's just dumb. "we have a bite" means that she was not the only one and there is some sort of emphasis on 'the bite.' They haven't used that line in any other commercial or in any other part of the movie, except for the part RIGHT BEFORE they show the expanding woman scene. These commercials have emphasis to them, so obvious that I could easily assume that they want us to pick up on these things.

i brought that up earlier. Someone said something about it being a missile and the monster was hiding behind the building that the missile hit...

but my argument was, why would they be running towards the monster?
