True. We only have lines like 'Those things came out of nowhere!',and the bite itslef, hopefully not by the giant monster, since she would most likely look like hamburger meat rather than Marlena.

 		I'm not starting a thread on this, but MTV is playing a Cloverfield spot at every commercial break, and all of the shows have "this program is brought to you by Cloverfield"

 		Yea, im not saying there arent small parasite thingys, just that we cant talk about them so concretely like he did.

Ive thought about how such a big creature could "infect" a human... could it have like, spores on it? something that just goes into you through contact with the skin?

 		The monster has to be somewhere between the 'group' and the military as the missile is fired.
The missile is coming from behind and left, so the creature might be chasing them or just moving in the same direction as the 'group'.

Either way, it's close by...so I expect that there might be a pretty good camera shot of it in this scene.

I know there is no concrete evidence, but to me it is common sense. and the screenshot of Rob pushing the door shut, he looks terrified and scared for his life and the small claw mark on her arm

Yea, we have no clue what hes keeping out. My guess is that its mutated people, cuz MGP could just crush the building.

Exactly, which is what I think J.J. is pushing in the public ad campaign too. Use common sense.

 		I mean the smaller monsters, maybe crave humans or need something.. just like a parasite gets from its host, since there arent on the big guy anymore, they need other sources of fuel Wink "We have a bite" like a mosquito thing lol mosquitos carry things like disease

 		yea, I would be fine with mutated people, parasites, or anything like that.

We just have so little info that its hard to say WHAT it is. Oh well... just... tell myself that 18 days is NOT a long time... and hopefully it will go by faster. Very Happy

I wanna believe was said in answer to our theory that Slusho! was causing the infection.

I mean, I know as a whole- we can't say anything's concrete because we all have a lot of different opinions about it, and a lot of different perceptions of what we hear and see, but I am concretely sticking to the 'Smaller creature' theory.

Here's another [SPEC] and this is going off the "spore" theory:

The monster's entrance causes an infection/mutation in people. Being that the budget is only 30 million, maybe they did a '28 days later' style with 'zombie-like' mutations. It would be cost beneficial in my eyes.

I dont know about zombies, unless u have big blobs chasing you, i just think if you get bit by a monster u get infected, and expand, die. and since they doctors see this, they dont know if it is contagious, passes from human to human, thats why they wear the hazmat suits. It looks like marlena is in a different room when she explodes.. only around the hazmats
