We just need to let Toho handle it next time... I mean, i'm all about updating the look of Godzilla... but JUST A LITTLE... And for the love of God, can we please make the O.G. with just a little friggin courage. I felt like I was watching the cowardly lion run around NYC for about 2 hours. It was ridiculous.

From the teaser and the trailer it looks like the film makers saw the Cloverfield teaser in August and copied JJ's marketing strategy wholesale.
Just my 2 cents.


Whoever they copied, if they did, it wasn't Cloverfield, the shooting started before the summer.

Trust me, I know what I'm talking about.
