Well here's my take on it:

He's wandering around nearby at the moment doing whatever an MGP would do underwater. He could be miles away, or he could still be where he's at. Maybe he's eating or tending to the Seabed Nectar or whatever it is down there or nearby.

One thing we do know is that on 1-18-07 he's in the NY harbor having followed a Tagruato oil tanker. I assume within the next few game weeks, Tagruato sends a tanker or an expedition to the site to see whats up. Maybe even a fleet of tankers and equpiment....MGP destroys them all but one, which steams at full speed toward NYC. MGP gives chase.

 		Well I'm almost completely sure TIDO is ingame now.

Just two things I want to say regarding Jamie.

1) There will not be a video of her being killed/kidnapped on J&T, because the vids have to be uploaded (as far as I know) and I don't think the kidnapper/murderers would bother to do that

2) I doubt Jamie would post on TIDOwave, because look how much work all of us put into finding it, and she doesn't even care that much. The only way she would know of TIDOwave is if Teddy talked a lot about it or had the logo all over the place or something.

Not possible. According to the company website, over 300 people are employed at the Chuai station. It would be economically impossible to house 300+people underwater and deal with the depressurization/oxygen/food supply issues for that many.

If it did become an underwater station shipping lanes would have to be informed - surely the PMs would be aware of this and place a clue or two about it in game.

I think it was towed away...why I don't know, but it seems the best fit for now.

Hmmmm, I like this train of thought...
Towed or pushed by MGP perhaps.
If Chuai was destroyed, surely some debris would remain, and i undestand Bold Futura
might have the know-how to construct a submerged station, but somehow i find it hard to accept Chuai was an underwater station.

If the incident took place on 12/18/07, and the search party from TIDO arrived on New years eve or New Years to check it out...how much debris would there be at that particular location almost 2 weeks after it happened? I think the currents would've carried things far away from the GPS position by then.

lol, perfect now we have it figured out. Thanks pal!!! lol I do like the bride one though... (in all seriousness the I Bred one is interesting, maybe not, maybe i am just so desperate for something new that i am looking WAY into things...)

I am not too put off by the misspelling simply because of the facts that:

1. debris is a commonly misspelled word.
2. there have been other misspellings on tidowave that nothing has come from namely array instead of awry.

now if debri had some other meaning (other than a race of people from somewhere no one has ever heard of) than maybe we would have something. but i dont see tidowave going off to try and save some random group of people that is being 'ethnically cleansed' they seem more like a group who would worry about cows or monkeys rather than other people.
