I'm offended that somebody's offended by this movie. I'm gonna call FOX and demand equal airtime.

You know they'll just put you on Hannity & Colmes and you'll just be called unpatriotic and unamerican by Sean Hannity for half an hour, right?

Nah, I think Sean will love this movie! It's Colmes that would get all worked up about it. Either way, you're comin with me.

Sean probably would love the movie. Mr. Grumpypants rampaging around, killing all the Democrat supporters. But Colmes get worked up? Please. Colmes does nothing. Hannity pwns his face (not that I support Hannity's pwning of Colmes' face).

I'll go, if you're willing to pay for me to fly from New Zealand to NY. In fact, I'd probably be the one called unamerican and unpatriotic if I go over there, and then I'll be called all sorts of names when they discover I'm from New Zealand. Either that, or they'll ask me if I was in Lord of the Rings (I wasn't).

If so, I'm going to have to catch up on some later H&C. And possibly that new Hannity's America show thing.

Also, lazarusHART - LOL! Genius.

Thanks BA, I was also tempted with saying "She deserves massive trouting on behalf of Mr. Grumpypants" But then the email would sound a bit offensive. Cause, let's face it, she doesn't spend time on the web & I'm kinda leaning to that she doesn't watch TV that much.

On Fox News?

What a surprise. ::said in a monotone, level voice:: Rolling Eyes

WTF are you doing watching that hick channel? You watch Bill O'Reilly for more than five minutes and you'll be completely drained of IQ points.
I was looking throught out all the channel sites and found this one on FOX News. I hate this channel. Sorry but i do.

Don't apologise for hating Fox News. That's like apologising for helping an old lady cross the street. Or apologising for hating brussel sprouts.

Actually, my Local Network's pretty good. The station's funny and all that. Apologizing for hating Fox News that airs regularly is apologizing for hating Bin Laden. BUT I totally love FOX, the channel. Simpson's, Family Guy, 24, and helluva more.

I've allways wanted to go to New Zealand. Hopefully before I die.

Hmmm. I don't recall the Statue of Liberty loosing its head on 9/11. But you know. I could be wrong.. It's happened before.

But seriously I want to punch her in the face for being so annoying.

What kind of shlock Journalism is this?

Godzilla has been tearing up Tokyo for 50 years and with the most recent release, civilization was destroyed. So does this mean New York is somehow off limits to destructive scenes?

Would it make it better if this was any place other than New York? How about Las Vegas? Would that make it easier for people who still feel the pains of 9/11?

Another good question, I do not recall 9/11 in any way involving our beloved Statue of Liberty, so the point of the poster's imagery bringing to mind the terrorist attacks seems to be a stretch. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion on these things and the woman's loss is regrettable, however are you truely this hard up for news that this must be broadcast as "news"?

Finally, I leave with this last point. There is no such thing as bad plublicity. By showing this, you have just increased the revenue that this film will be grossing.

Thank you for reading the rant of someone truely sick of shock journalism.

Less intelligent than the previous poster's email and admittedly more of a rant, but I'm sick of shock journalism and PR stories in general. Oh, and I CC'ed the guy who did the interview so one of his secretaries can send me a "Thanks for your feedback".

both e-mails are good, they make the point, but spell check them. there's a couple of misspelled words in each, and they will just make fun of you and call you ignorant.

I'm gonna type mine up. I like FOX news, but I'm not too big of a conservative to admit this was stupid on their part, and sensationalist journalism.

They're just making up a story. Guess everybody wants in on the Cloverfield bandwagon

I think Magus's email was a bit more intelligent than mine.

I think you should keep your eye out for Cloverfield ads on FoxNews. If they show them, chide them for being hypocrites.
Very Happy

one of my tvs stays on fox. I haven't seen a spot yet. But just because it's on, doesn't mean I'm allways watching it. Right now I'm watching yet another meaningless bowl game.

FOX news, or Fox regular? I have seen several ads on the regular Fox channel, but I don't remember seeing one on FOX news.

Touche, I meant Fox. Sorry about that. I never watch Fox News. Too biased for me.
