(O.T.)J.J. hires you...
How would you make Cloverfield?

J.J. Abrams gives you nearly complete creative control over the film, however you must adhere to the following core rules:

A giant monster (or giant monsters) attack on New York through the eyes of a group of normal people.

Viewed primarily via the characters camera.

Slusho conection.

Discuss.

Looks for straw.

Finds straw.

Strinks Slusho!

Sees advert for Slusho! through camera on TV and eats all cameras.

Throws Robs apartment out into the ocean.

How's that?

I'd make this movie right here:

http://www.apple.com/trailers/paramount/cloverfield/large.html

And it would be awesome

I would do crazy stuff since it's first person. Tons and tons of shots near the monster, on tall skyscrapers, etc.

I would make it a gripping drama thriller, centred on the friends as they are stuck in the New York underground subway, with no way out and the mini-monsters closing in, while MGP can be heard rampaging outside.

Sorta like Descent in a subway.

aka, crap.
sorry but god that sounds awful and boring.

i would make it to be the footage by some guy who followed the monster to sell the tape. he would come close to getting killed a few times trying to get good shots of the death and destruction and probably die in the end.

Says the man who wants to make a Twister-Godzilla mashup.

I kid, I kid. I'm just more into psychological dramatic stuff than you, obviously. Wink

I'd make an after college drunken road trip/chase comedy starring the slusho 7 plus the cops, corporate stooges and giant mutant sea lion thats trying to catch them before they can get their illegal load of black market Slusho across state lines for a huge going away party for Rob.

Robs Going to Japan! And it'll be a Monster of a Party!

Cloverfield!

But then, you probably knew that as I said it before..

Should I trout myself?
