It's nice as long as it doesn't get too gamejack-ish. We need to leave clear somewhere that it's not part of the sponsored game, just so those who don't come to uF know.

And also, lets not mess with the storyline. I don't think it would be nice for people starting to put things like "I'm Teddy's best friend". We can be an independant environmental group who feel sympathetic with the downfall of Tagruato.

Well essentially I assume we would be talking about bringing down Tagruato, discussing whats bad about it, rumors etc. Without claiming to have done anything against them, or be part of the story line. i.e not working for Tagruato.

If so, it sounds like a good idea.

Not using "The Cause" would probably be wise. So we can make our own funky name. Yessir.

Similar thoughts. The way I figure it, "the Cause" are eco-terrorist types, underground, wrong side of the law, etc. Our angle would be that of a lawful, aboveboard group who may sympathize with the Cause, but work within bounds and focus primarily on public relations. So our site and look are similar to Tagruato's because we'd like nothing better than to be mistaken for them. But the clear association is the in-depth goal.

As for avoiding the appearance of a gamejack and adding to the confusion, I totally agree. First thing I'm going to do (tonight) is link back to this forum, call it our own. I'll see what else I can come up with, but the aim would be to maintain the "pretend" nature of the site, and funnel newcomers clearly and quickly to this forum (which is a favor in itself to anyone interested in the topic) and the who, what, when and where of our group.

A thought. If we do a good enough job, we may be treated to a contact from "the Cause".

Anyway, the blog by email isn't the best idea. I'll leave it active for the next few days to see how it goes. Eventually though, I'll need to set those who want to participate up as blog authors. If that's you, email me at tagruatoATgmail. I may not get back to you right away, but when I do I'll have more details, etc.

Lastly, while I'm obviously the point man on this, I much prefer collaboration. So, your ideas, and participation on any level will be the guiding force behind the project.
