Paramount could get their act together and post their own channel, then they could post their stuff themselves...
But that would be admitting YouTube has major distribution power and influence, something both TV and the cinematic industry have been largely loathe to do. That would at least be reasonably fair. Despite the Apple Trailers page, not everyone has Quicktime or the bandwidth and time to watch those trailers. The Flash based, lightweight player used by YouTube is simply more effective.
YouTube is about as draconian to anyone but the big companies with money and the absolutely most popular channels (who bring them traffic), so don't expect any reprieve.

I just checked my email, and I got a DCMA notice from.......wait for it....
NBC!
I guess the 15 seconds of Slusho on Heroes I put on YouTube is going to run them out of business. Thanks Peacock!

I've had a video taken down once before (by ABC for Lost stuff), but it seems unusual that they would close the account.
Maybe I should just switch video services. Any suggestions?

I bet that Paramount is like:
"Ah, w/e, the movie's gonna come out soon, and these suckers have sucked in too much info to refuse the movie. HAHAHA now we can claim our own videos for ourselves like greedy bastards!!!!! Of course, the money made will go directly to the people who helped only a little bit and then we tax them for our profits, and more profits mean more scotch!!!!!!"
Something like that.

Well, Dennis, I've heard DailyMotion is nearly the same as Youtube, but Veoh delivers superb quality, but also slow on some computers. Maybe another account, like NightOwl3090 before he got suspended. (He's NightOwl Films now, but he quit the ARG, just following along.)
